Delhi Little Grill — Restaurant in Delhi

If you have seen my reviews I love a hometown local restaurant. The Delhi Little Grill was the perfect stop on a beautiful Saturday afternoon traveling through Mississippi. We pulled up to the "shack" all spots were full, nice sign. We parked next door, greeted by wonderful smiles. We stand out as out of towners but the locals were so pleasant and kind. They all knew each other, I had a bacon cheeseburger and the wife had a Shrimp Po'boy. Food was outstanding and cheap. Found out the fantastic server was also the new owner! I wish her all the best. Two of use ate there this morning around 7:45 as we are making our way down to AZ. We got the breakfast platter with ham and bacon. The food came out hot and fresh. The biscuit was soft and moist with great flavor and not hard and dry like Cracker Barrel. The ham was cooked with flavor. Egg was correct like I wanted it and didn’t come out hard and the hash browns were soooo good. One of my favorite breakfast I ever had. This is the reason why I LOVE hole in the wall places. What a find! You get service with a smile and way better food for the same price as Burger King up the street! I got the cheese burger and onion rings combo. Be prepared the burger patty is about 1 inch thick! It seems like everything here I made in my kitchen at home.The onion rings are dipped in something delicious that makes them crispy and very good. You know you are in the right spot when it is a tiny town and packed with locals. I am here for work for the next few years and this will be a regular spot...
