As repeat customers of Fat Racks BBQ, we can confidently say this place is the real deal. Every time we pick up food for the family, it’s an absolute hit. The flavors are consistently amazing, and it’s become our go-to spot whenever we’re craving BBQ.

One of our all-time favorites is the Smoked Wings. These are hands down some of the best wings we’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with a smoky flavor that keeps us coming back for more. The seasoning is spot on—just the right balance of heat and smokiness. Every bite is pure BBQ bliss.

The Rib Ends are another highlight. These little gems are tender, flavorful, and have that perfect smoky char. They practically melt in your mouth, and we’ve ordered them time and time again because they never disappoint. They’re the kind of BBQ you crave when you want something that's tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

We also love the Smoked Pineapple Spears—a unique and delicious side that adds a touch of sweetness to balance out all the smoky goodness. Grilled to perfection, these pineapple spears are the perfect complement to any of the BBQ platters.

Speaking of platters, the BBQ Pulled Pork Platter is an absolute favorite. The pulled pork is always tender and juicy, with just the right amount of smoky flavor. Topped with their house BBQ sauce, it’s the kind of meal that’ll have you going back for seconds. We’ve ordered it multiple times, and it’s always consistently excellent.

The Beef Quesadilla Platter is another repeat order for us. The quesadillas are stuffed with smoky, flavorful beef, melted cheese, and the perfect amount of spice. It’s the kind of dish that’s both comforting and satisfying, and it’s always a crowd-pleaser at our table.

And let’s not forget about the Brisket—every time we get it, it’s perfectly cooked, tender, and full of deep, smoky flavor. It’s juicy without being greasy, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Honestly, this brisket is some of the best we've ever had.

Every meal we’ve had from Fat Racks BBQ has been top-notch. The portions are generous, the food is consistently delicious, and the service is always friendly and efficient. It’s rare to find a BBQ joint that hits all the marks, but Fat Racks does it every single time. If you're looking for flavorful, high-quality BBQ that you’ll keep coming back for, look no further than Fat Racks BBQ.

We’ll definitely continue to be repeat customers and highly recommend this place to anyone who...

TL;DR: Fat Racks BBQ serves flavorful barbecue with standout baked beans and a solid brisket for South Jersey. Service was friendly but a bit unprepared, and the presence of flies was a noticeable concern.

Quality of Food: The brisket was decent—slightly dry but still flavorful, making it the best I’ve had so far in South Jersey, even if not quite at North Jersey’s level (or no where near Texas's which is where I base my quality of Brisket from). The brisket quesadilla was tasty, though the jalapeños overpowered the other flavors; without them, it likely would have been excellent. The mac and cheese was creamy and pleasant, though not memorable. The green beans were tasty but unremarkable, while the jacked baked beans were the real star—rich, well-spiced, and made even better by flavorful bits of sausage. Highly recommend those.

Quality of Service: The staff was very friendly but seemed caught off guard by our early arrival and decision to dine on-site. They scrambled to set up a table with an umbrella, which was appreciated. When asked about their BBQ style (Texas, Nashville, etc.), the response was simply “BBQ,” which left little to set expectations but spoke to a straightforward approach.

Environment & Ambiance: The restaurant itself is more of a shack-style setup, which can often mean great food, but there were no indoor dining options. The outdoor seating with the added umbrella was a nice touch.

Pricing and Concerns: The food felt fairly priced for the quality and portions. The biggest concern was cleanliness, specifically the noticeable flies inside the establishment. $30 per person here easy with food and drinks.

General Comments & Recommendation: Fat Racks BBQ is worth a stop if you’re on the south side of New Jersey and craving brisket, as it’s the best I’ve found locally. The baked beans are a must-order, and the staff’s friendliness makes up for some rough edges. With a little more polish and attention to cleanliness, this spot could easily stand out as a...

8/3/2025 Hello wanted to leave a review for this wonderful place as much as the food was good the customer service was even better. I was coming back from competing down in Wildwood and I got there about an hour before closing heading back North. Unfortunately their credit system was down and was only taking cash, sadly I didn't have any cash on me that day. Sitting in my car looking at where to go next, the owner (I believe but not totally sure) came up to my window asking if id like something. I explained yes but your system is down. The fact I couldn't cover the meal didn't sway his decision in his offering of food to me. He had one of his guys pack up a whole rack for me. I was grateful and tried other means of payment venmo, cashapp, etc but all he wanted from me was to pass on a good review. So here it is the ribs were excellent and the hospitality was off the charts. If I am ever in the area again I will be stopping in to settle my bill. After cutting weight for a week this was a perfect meal to have and was incredibly grateful for this gesture. If you are ever in the area...

On my down to Wildwood, drove past on prior trips to the shore, decided to stop and try the ribs. Vry friendly staff, meat choices were ribs, brisket, chicken n pulled pork.
