Deangelo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Denver

Exactly what we needed!! 2020 has been just about the weirdest year so far but our family night out to Deangelo’s took us back to the better times of a distant 2019!

Conveniently located just off the Nickel Plate, it was a perfect pit stop on our family ride! 6 miles north of Peru, we rode up with our 4 and 2 year old for pizza and ice cream!

The staff was wonderful and friendly and just about everything you expect of Hoosier hospitality! Our 4 year old dropped his ice cream cone (cause he’s... 4 🤣) and they immediately replaced it for him!

The pizza was fantastic! Freshly made dough and homemade sauce made it one of the best (if not the best) pies in the area! Our kids devoured it!!

Such a fun night! A much needed reprieve and we can’t wait to do it...

It's Friday, February 9th, 2024, ordered right before 7 pm. Whoever these kids are working tonight needs to be trained better. I ordered Stromboli with no mushrooms, and there was a mushroom in every bite. When my husband picked up the sandwiches, the kid forgot our 2 liters, so he had to go back. A deer hit him in town after leaving, and he should not have been there in first place if the kid had given him the order correctly. I asked for the fries to be cooked crisper then usual, and they were undercooked. Seems like every time I ask something to be cooked a little longer, they catch an attitude, and its never done how I ask. I just moved out here a few months ago and have ordered several times now. Really, really good pizza! This was our first time there, but we went because of recommendations from several friends. Denver is a small you're in Miami County. Not a lot there but this place is with the trip. It says they make fresh dough for the crusts daily. It's excellent! We ordered a deluxe pizza since this was our first time. We're going to try the cheeseburger pizza next time. They also serve lasagna and spaghetti, as well as sandwiches, bread sticks and other things. There is no inside seating, though.
