I was a faithful customer of El Tucan for YEARS. The staff have always been super friendly, and the owner is one of the easiest people to talk to I've ever met. The food is delicious and always hot and fast. They're always very busy on sunday mornings, but ive never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. I now work at the restaurant, and have for the past month. Typically, after you begin working somewhere you no longer eat their food, but I couldn't live without it. The kitchen is suprisingly clean, and ive never been more proud to work in food service. I've noticed though, that when the restaurant isn't busy, the waitress take extra time with the food to ensure that its the best mexican food youve ever had. Read moreI ordered the enchiladas supremes and had the chips and salsa and an horchata. It was one bland disappointing bite after another. The meat had no discernible taste other than ground meat. It was also not properly drained - grease was pouring out the ends of my enchiladas. I would be pleasantly surprised if one thing on my table didn't come from a pouch or a can.
