While Buxton’s isn’t new to the area (formerly known as Buxton’s Pizza popping up around town since 2020 as a food truck), Buxton’s is now a restaurant offering their Neapolitan style pizzas you already known and love, as well as some fresh new plates, desserts, and wine & beer!
Truly delicious and well-crafted Neapolitan pizza focused on inventive flavors and quality ingredients. The pizza comes hot right out of the imported artisan oven and is a generous individual portion (or to share!). The selection of plates is diverse enough to branch out, while also remaining cohesive. We tried the arancini and the meatballs, both delicious and swimming in a red sauce that was perfection! All dishes are handcrafted with care and made with quality ingredients. The prices are fair and reflective of the quality. The dessert options were a lovely way to end the evening with the chocolate tart as the standout for me.
The interior is thoughtfully finished and provided a lovely backdrop for an evening of enjoying great food with friends. The decor is modern with refined touches adding to a cozy yet trendy atmosphere.
The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. There were plenty of options for drinks – wine, beer (both on draft and canned), seltzers, and NA options.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience with great plates and pizza! I can't wait to go back and try more...
Read morePizza was amazing! Not to mention the meatballs were "awesome sauce". Staff was super friendly. Would I recommend this place, absolutley. This is going to be one for the ages. I would recommend "dinning in" as they get super busy and need to shut down the take out orders. Small place, approx. 10 bar stools, and 7 booths. We showed up at 12 on a Saturday (which is when the open) and by 12:27, place was full. They do a quick turnover as the pie's don't take long at all. (approx 7 minutes) Husband and I came in and each had 1 drink, he did order a beer after (I skipped it) We continued on with the meatball supreme, the ricotta and fresh basil on top of these amazing morsels of meat. We followed that with a Margarita Pizza, it was so good we purchased a second one to take home for later. The salads looked fresh and full of goodness, didn't have one, however they were being made about 4 ft from me so I was able to watch. They did have a sandwich special as well as a pie special while we were there. We didn't get either. Service was prompt, staff was friendly, and get our opion. The "mixed" drink menu was limited, however they did have a bunch of craft brews. With drinks, was a bit pricey, but overall totally worth it. Was it a bit pricey hell yeah, at $87, but that included 2 amazing pies, 3 beverages with booze, and the meatball app. also large. Would I go back? absolutley yes, just may avoid any...
Read moreAbout a week ago i called and asked if i can place an order over the phone as id be coming from over 40 minutes away. I was told no, you can only order in person. Well i headed there and when i was 10 minutes away i called and asked about the menu. I was then told they were out of dough. So no one thought to say “hey we are running out of dough so I wouldn’t recommend traveling all that way to just waste your time.” When I called initially? Nope no one considered to tell me that and i wasted my entire night! Was really excited to try this place too but after being told they don’t expect orders over then phone then driving 90% of the way there then told their out of dough? Never been anywhere especially a pizza place where I HAVE to order in person. Why make customers order in person? Are you afraid of people not showing up? Make them pre-pay? Or are you afraid of being overwhelmed with orders? Seems like an odd business approach. All this caused was a huge inconvenience for me and made it so i wasted over an hour of driving for no reason. If i was allowed to simply place an order when i initially called all of this could’ve been avoided, but why make it convenient for the...
