We stopped at the Friedrichs in the DSM Airport. There was who I assume to be a manager standing at the register counting a drawer. My daughter and I literally stood there for 5 minutes before she spoke one word to us. I then asked if they had any sausage sandwiches coming out since there weren't any in the warmer. She said frantically that she'd have to check the oven, which she never did. She asked if we wanted anything else and I said "yes". She then said with an attitude "Well, what?!". We ordered our drinks, them she snatched my card from my hand for the payment. I gave a little laugh in disbelief and she asked if she'd done anything wrong. WOW! Had she simply greeted us upon arrival, we would have been fine waiting while she finished counting. But to top that off, HORRIBLE customer service. She was also snippy with the poor girl who was stuck...
Read moreMy experience was less than thrilling. 4 employees standing around a trash can, no one washed their hands as they shifted back and forth making coffees and changing the garbage. Cashier was as personable as a brick wall as she mumbled nothing but my total, without ringing anything up or actually taking a coffee order (I had an ala carte item in my hand). Once I convinced her to allow me to order coffee she took out what must have been her life's frustrations on my card as she forcefully swiped it a half dozen times. My goodbye was as thorough as my hello and completely non-existent.
When receiving my coffee I was told "this must be yours" and she set it down and went back to socializing.

Read moreStaff was beyond rude. A line started to form on one side of the barrier prior to opening. Staff that were working at the front counter preparing to open never said a word to redirect the line. A second line began to form at the other end of the barrier. At opening time, one of the staff came out and opened the opposite end of the barrier to allow entrance. The people in the original line began questioning why we weren't being helped first when we had been in line way before the other group. The girl that worked there said, oh well, this is where the line starts everyday, like we should just know that. There was no sign indicating where the line starts.
