WORTH THE HYPE BUT BREAK THE BANK šŸ’µ I recently visited the city and was interested in trying new food. I love TikTok so as a referral from there they said this is worth a a try no matter who u are local or outside. We got there as soon as they opened unfortunately the inside of the building wasn’t open so I don’t have any pictures but let me tell you the food never disappoint. When we got there before they opened they already had people parked waiting and no the food won’t take 5 minutes to make. This food is made out love and you can tell when you get it. They do have a wait while waiting you can sit in the bleachers they have. I have to be honest and you pay extra for the sauce. I gave this place 4 START because not everyone can afford to eat here $30 and plus a small plate is really not really worth it all the time. Let me say also the neighborhood of the location was not the best so keep that in mind when you decide to go here. The place it self is near the road side however I wouldn’t recommend staying around that area. For two plates we paid around $70 dollars and I wouldn’t mind paying it again if I ever visited again šŸ™‚

We had to see what the hype was all about, so we tried it today. We arrived at 12:05p (hours of operation are 12p-8p) and were told they would be open at 12:30🚩They already had a line of cars waiting for them to open, which excited me. I ordered the Boss Bachi (see menu), and my spouse ordered the Hood Bachi trio, and we added 2 yum yum sauces, which are sold separately for $1 each. There were about 6 orders before us, so we were told 40 minutes🚩At the 40-minute mark (and after seeing ALL of the orders before mine were called, I went up to the truck. I over hear that they don't have lobster (someone attempted to order it), and I think maybe they ran out AFTER my order. I inquired, and I'm told they don't have lobster🚩 So the cook looks at me (THE SAME GUY THAT TOOK MY ORDER) and says that he's going to put "extra" of the other meats inšŸ™„ 90 minutes later (and about 5 people AFTER ME getting their food) we get our food and head home. Yes, the food was super hot, well seasoned, well portioned, and tasty. However, communication and time inaccuracy make this a one and done for meāœŒšŸ¾

We heard about @hoodbachigrill from a TikTok and knew we needed to give this a try! We headed down to Detroit and as we were driving up to the spot we could smell something good was cooking. We were greeted by the friendliest chefs in the food truck, who truly make everything to order and fresh. They have a small outdoor space with a few picnic tables and a fireplace where customers can wait for their food and either eat there or take it to go! Everyone from the chefs to the customers were smiling- it was good vibes all around! We ordered the Filet mignon and chicken combo and filet mignon and shrimp combo and OMG!!! First the shrimp was HUGE and the steak was tender and had nice grill marks. The chicken was juicy, the veggies were perfectly sautĆ©ed and had a nice crisp to them, the rice was cooked with garlic butter and we topped it with yum yum sauce šŸ‘ŒšŸ‘ŒšŸ‘Œ 10/10 could not recommend this place more- great people and great food! We will be back!

My experience wasn’t good :( I’m speaking for myself so let’s get that cleared. The wait was over a hour , we specifically asked for our food to not be cooked with any seafood as I’m allergic to seafood cool, now this is where things go south after the 1and a half wait I get the food home no garlic butter, two my food was cooked with shrimp in it, I bit a piece of the broccoli and boom I can feel my lip swelling after shuffling through the food I noticed that it was cooked with shrimp 😩😔🤬 now I’m heated take it back get the food back home and they gave me a kiddy portion of rice plus zero garlic butter. I never even go to food trucks and this just solidified it for me. Plus the wait is ridiculous they need to change up the ordering system take so many people stop the line take care of those customers then take more orders it’s too small and not enough cooks plus they dripping sweat in the rice and cooking it into your food, it’s a no thank you ever again for me. You won’t kill me at a food truck in Brightmoor ..

Signed a very...
