Robert's Coney Island — Restaurant in Detroit

Out of all the times I have been to Roberts Coney Island I have never encountered any problems till this morning. The lady who took my order was very rude and the cook was rude too. I am very upset that I Have been supporting this business for years and I had to experience rude customer service and the fact that I was given cold food that was suppose to be straight off the grill which I was given food that someone else ordered and it was sitting. Moral of the story I went in the restarting to let them know that my food was cold and the lady who took my ordered responded that it just came off the grill and that I would have to come back at 7pm to speak to a manager remind me it’s 7:40am. After she stated that i ask them if I could get some hot food and they told me no and than I proceeded to ask if I can get my money back and they told me no I felt very irritable and told them if it’s no sign or nothing stating that it’s against their policy for no refunds and no returns I’m going to need my money back than the cook came and responded to me stating that I must be HIGH yes he was very unprofessional knowing I just got off work and I had on my work uniform. Their for I will no longer eat at Roberts...

You know the food is great. Service excellent, no attitudes, always a smile. What gets me is why nobody using gloves fixing people food. I have hepatitis A In my system from ppl not using gloves. With all these communicable diseases including covid & all the other stuff going on nobody paying attention you Jus eating, & not praying over your food, you should bc ppl don't wash they hands necessarily like they should but still nobody wears gloves, I won't be back but thanks for the service. I normally go thru drive thru Jus decide to go inside & that's when I see nobody w gloves....

This is the First time i was super disappointed. As they were wrapping up the reubens i could tell something was wrong... As she gave me my food i ask what was wrong? She replied, oh nothing we joke around and after he filled the order, i told him i wrote the order wrong... But i didnt. I said ok, and started my 2 hr drive home. Well, yes it was very wrong. I ordered 2 reubins with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing and they gave me corned beef with mustard... Much cheaper sandwiches. They knew the order was wrong and served it anyway. Very...
