Sun China — Restaurant in Detroit

Me and my spouse went to Sun China because a YouTuber did a review and stated this was the 2nd best Chinese restaurant in Detroit. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience plus the food wasn't good. We ordered the Almond Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, and 2 shrimp egg rolls. 1st the almond chicken was cooked too done and the chicken breast was not thinned to make the breast less chunky they took a huge chunky chicken breast and fried it which made the batter fall off the chicken because it was too big. Also the Shrimp Fried Rice didn't taste like shrimp fried rice plus the cook forgot to add our shrimp to the rice. If we hadn't checked our food before leaving our shrimp would have been missing and we paid extra for Shrimp Fried Rice. Also the Shrimp egg rolls didn't have any shrimp inside they only had a bean sprouts mixture with no shrimp at all. As for service the service was horrible the older Chinese lady who takes your order and cashs you out had a bad attitude. She hyperventilated because she was too overwhelmed with how busy they were. They need to hire better help. They also need to hire more cooks to help with the load of customers, every 1 to 2 minutes 2 to 3 customers were entering the restaurant. The food is not like it use to be. They have a young lady there now that takes the orders. I called to place an order and she said she can't make that right now. I had my sister call on a three way to place the same order and she took it no problem. My sister gave her my name and she repeated the name as if it was a problem. When I got to the restaurant to pay she had the order all wrong and lied about it. I heard exactly what was said and ordered because I was on the phone when my sister placed the order. Oh, and they could make what she said they couldn't. Go figure. This was the second time I've experienced bad customer service and bad food frome Sun China in the 10 years I've patronized the establishment. A customer should leave a restaurant feeling uneasy about the food they've ordered because of the people that work there. And if you're wondering it wasn't good. Best Chinese restaurant has amazing food . A friend told me about this place when I was asking what was a good Chinese restaurant to go get egg rolls. So he suggested this place and they are located in the city of Detroit on Telegraph and mcnichols. Their egg rolls are sold crispy and delicious and they're made with bean sprouts instead of cabbage. They have what the young lady told me behind the counter was they have ground up steak chicken and I believe shrimp with bean sprouts, they are delicious. I've had their sesame chicken which is really good you can bite into it and cut it open and it looks like chicken breast. And I've had their shrimp egg foo young, it's really good as well. The service is great. However I think when you request shrimp fried rice with your meal because you normally get chicken fried rice, but the shrimp fried rice and they add $3 to your bill cuz that's how much it is.
