Very nice facility, however the beer is sub par. The only good beer was the stout and the red, but that's a problem the lighter beers like IPA and lager weren't very good. Because it's easier to brew darker beers and they hide flaws. I think this brewery has a small flaw because all the lighter beers tasted a bit off. Then we talked with one of the partners and he mentioned he wanted to run another local brewery out of business and claimed his beer was far superior to the other brewery. I explained it's always good to have multiple breweries close together to add to the community and appeal of beer lovers and he looked at me like I was crazy that his brewery was the best and should be the only one. It's located in an industrial center. There's no thought on comfort or how to get the customers to stay longer. The beer is okay. After sampling a few items on the tap, there wasn't any I wanted to take home or enjoy at the brewery. It's not a great date spot. Greg makes excellent beers. Clean, varied, and no "house flavor". Greg uses an exceptionally varied selection of base and specialty malts, yeasts and hops, and he is obviously a very skilled brewer. All beers were true to style, unpretentious, and a joy to drink!
The tasting room is nicely appointed, welcoming, and comfortable.
