Grit + Grind Coffee — Restaurant in Diamondhead

Swoon. The best word I can use to describe this charming little coffee shop. Everything about it, the people, the atmosphere - clean and the decor was so fun and fresh. I ordered the Salty Karen with oat milk. I’m still thinking about this delicious drink & wish we had one in Kansas City!!! There are lots of options for the non coffee drinkers as well. One of my kids got a refresher & loved it. Great quality in ALL their products. One of my kids was a barista at Starbucks & agreed that G+G make a really good coffee. I wish there were gluten free options for food items but everything was so wonderful. The food was delicious too! I had the breakfast burrito wrap. So good!

I love the branding and the messaging ‘No Grit, No Pearl’ but the truth is in the product. We were headed home to KC & discovered Grit + Grind on our route. Loved everything about it. Deserves 6 stars. There’s not another coffee shop in the area that is this good. Wish I would have found it the first day of vacation bc i would’ve driven the 17 min from Waveland, MS just for this place. And a drive through!! Amazing! Loved loved loved! Older lady was extremely rude, as in talked bad ab a customer in front of other customers constantly and repeatedly like a child in high school. The person she was talking ab was literally at the window and had just told her a story. Don’t know what ab, but when I’m at a coffee shop I don’t want to hear bad or people being made fun of early in the morning.

To top that off their coffee really isn’t all that good and not consistent, especially for the price point with only small sizes. Coffee culture down the road is way more consistent and still cheaper. Yes their sizes aren’t great either for the price buts that’s my point. But, at the end of the day they are especially better bc the employees are always nice and as far as I’ve seen don’t gossip like little girls ab customers in front of other...

These people are fake and now desperate for good reviews. Literally, they have jumped up 80 reviews in the past day😂Someone finally said the truth ab one of their employees and coffee and they just couldn’t handle the problem. Instead they get all these reviews in to drown out the one real one!😂 To put into context, they only had like 40 reviews a day ago and now have close to 120.? Mind you this place has now been open for at least a year.

Mediocre coffee with a mean gossiping employee. And to top it got a bunch fake reviews in a day because the owner couldn’t handle a truthful bad review. It is sad that all it takes to make it in South MS is the amount of people you know and she knows everyone! That’s the only reason why they are still in business!😂😂...
