EDITED BY ME RETRO: I Have been spending some of my free time here and keep comming back because of the positive vibes here. MADDY is awesome! All the servers make it more than a "BAR" It is a nice chill spot with a variety of nice people in different age groups. Its like The REAL PEOPLE and REAL AMERICA peoples establishment of SANGAMON COUNTY only 12 minutes from the city. Very nice staff and service. We are able to get our drinks in a timely fashion. Also, they have drink specials available. Personally, the jello shots are a favorite. The other folks in here are very nice and personable. Overall it has always been a great experience and environment. 30 plus years my wife and I have enjoyed so many great times. The Corner Bar has transferred ownership and we will miss John Hopkins a lot. The new owners are just as great and entusiastic. The people make the Corner Bar fun and interesting. Topless Tuesdays are the best 👌 OPEN LATE!! ALSO, THE GAMING MACHINES ARE AWESOME!!!

Love Corner Bar. Well worth the short drive. Its clean, welcoming and friendly. They have drink specials all the time. Bree is a beautiful, welcoming hostess who is part owner of the bar. Its a hidden gem in Divernon Illinois that needs to be discovered by more people. Local businesses need to...
