Well I finally met the Christmas scrooge at Chachi's. I ordered two chicken burritos at the takeout window I've never been here before. Short older Hispanic woman, asked me if I wanted the shredded and I said yes. When I receive my burritos me and my wife went in the car to eat them we were starving and I was appalled to see that there was no beans, rice ,nothing at all but a tortilla and shredded chicken so dry we couldn't eat it. I went back up to the window and asked the lady how come there was nothing else in it and she said because that's what you ordered and I said no it's not I ordered a chicken burrito and she says I said there's no rice and beans and she said oh that is a supreme burrito there's no menu on the takeout window she never informed me that I was going to get a dry only meat burrito it was horrible. I then ask her if she could make it right and she said yes you can purchase two more and walked away so rude, so mean,so uncaring, the real deal scrooge. on Christmas Eve today. I asked her and pleaded please can you just give me some rice and beans she would not do that either another lady who ordered right before me was also so upset at this that she gave me $20 to order two more and said that is the worst service I've ever seen I refused the $20 ,as I had money to buy another one if I wanted to but I will never ever go back to Chachi's',we are new here we just moved here I have never seen a patron at a restaurant so horribly rude and unwilling to make things right for a customer the lady that offered me the $20 said I am very upset it would happen to you ,she seen I had an out-of-state license plate and she said this is not how we treat people in New...
Read moreSearching for some of the Best Mexican food in the area i was recommended by a sous chef recommended this authentic and tasty restaurant. And of course, my favorite which is a standard for me are "fajitas" and with this Chachi's excelled especially when they offer "beef" and "chicken" combos...Not many restaurants in Las Cruces offers this sweet combination hence, I recommend going here... Not only do the customers that come here know what it means to go thru "drive through" which is= you no what you want=what to eat..." instead of being undecided, and holding up the line, The customer service was "GREAT", "kind", and "Super quick and attentive to detail" which was awesome. Anyways, both the chicken and beef were tender, moist, and filling...the fajitas are like pillowy wraps that embraced the meat and chicken that when combined with toppings that came with the combo A deliciously juicy and flavorful meal... You must try this gem!! And actually, this sets and challenges the bigger cities like El Paso and Albuquerque to step up their game.. question is will they or can they compete??? Time can only tell.... Will anyone try to top this easy going original and friendly staff??? Again, the food is impressive when a sous chef from Albuquerque recommended this too me... Maybe, the local newscasters make a challenge for the " BEST NEW MEXICO 🇲🇽 FAJITAS IN...
Read moreService was amazing. Chips and Salsa are served as soon as you sit down. Not sure if the red salsa is usually super hot but tonight it was way too hot for my enjoyment. The green salsa that was served was tolerable Haha. We ordered the queso dip and that was delicious! I ordered the combo plate with 3 options. I ordered the cheese enchilada (comes with 2, full size rolled enchiladas), taco and gordita. This meal is brought out on 2 plates, that's how much food it is! If I would have known how much food there was going to be, I would of just got the enchilada plate because that was enough in itself. I would of preferred the taco to be a crunchy taco because it was served with a corn tortilla which isn't my fav but it was good. My husband ordered the brisket burrito smothered with red chile and added beans and rice on the side. His was really good!
UPDATE: 4/15 Food was great! Salsa's were perfect, queso was excellent. I ordered the Carne Adovada tacos with rice/beans and they were wonderful. Little on the greasy side but that's ok. Our waitress was very kind but the cooks were so slow. We arrived at 6:10pm and were told it would be a 20 minute wait, which it was. We ended up not getting our check until almost 8pm. I had to ask for our sopapillas to go because we just didn't have time to finish dinner there. That was the only downfall. Food was...
