Oriental Express-Dothan, AL — Restaurant in Dothan

Approximately a decade has passed since my wife and I moved from Dothan, Al to Houston, TX.

When we visit every year we make sure to stop here every single time.

The restaurant is a prime example of the old saying, "Don't Judge a Book By it's Cover."

The parking lot is in need of some fresh asphalt, the inside of the restaurant isn't exactly the prettiest, it's a very Spartan atmosphere.

It's easy to assess that these guys pour more time and energy into their food.

Even if you hate Chinese food, you should try it again at Oriental Express. You might be surprised, the food tastes so fresh and it is so precisely flavored.

Hands down a place I miss more than I ever expected too.

We drove over to restaurant from Google map for dinner during rush hour around 5:30 on a Monday. Thought it was closed down so kept going and turned around to go home and realized it’s open. I was a regular customer until today. About 3 days ago I order two combination plates and cheese wontons. They forgot to give me the wontons and 1 of the eggrolls. I called back and they told me I could get them when I come back. I call to order and order my meal today and get my wontons they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. The girl put the phone down and I could hear her talking rudely about me to the manager like I was lying about wontons smh. I told her to forget it and hung up.
