Penny's Diner — Restaurant in Douglas

Food is average it's convenient the service isn't horrible but feel like the staff is sometimes a little tired not sure if it's because they're over worked as there is only one person who runs the restraunt side for the most part and might at some point have a server but it's mostly just a cook... I feel if they had more than 2 people working at a time in the restraunt and "hotel reception" that maybe the cook would be able to remember orders not judging the cook just simply think that there should be more than a cook doing it all take care of your employees Penny's Diner they are the face of your business 😉 P.S. it is worth the stop when...

Good Double Cheese. Almost clean mens room. Dirty greasy doors and glass in doors. Tables and floors not real clean. But they are open 24/7 due to the Railroad food and Lodging contract. Old style/roadside diner with AWESOME BACON CHEESEBURGERS! I'm taking about thick cut, crispy bacon in QUANTITY (4 or 5 pieces) that overhang the sides and through the burger bun. This was an incredible roadside meal! Side of onion rings were okay... who cares?! That bacon burger was FANTASTIC! Also, if you drive a big rig, park across the highway and walk over. No semi parking at the diner since it also has a hotel there and super limited parking. Open...
