We enjoyed another delicious meal at Giovanni's Cafe and pizzeria this evening. The staff was celebrating two of the employees' birthdays that were this week (Happy Birthday Megan and Ashley!). You could tell that the staff really cares for each other! Everyone is always very friendly and works together as a team (which makes each visit so pleasant!). As for our dining experience, we shared garlic knots as an appetizer and pizza as our meal. Their upside down pizza is the best around! It always comes to our table piping hot and made with the freshest ingredients. This was our first time trying the garlic knots and they were freshly baked, slightly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and smothered with fresh garlic. Yummy! We definitely did not go home hungry! We even had leftovers to enjoy at home. With such great food and fantastic service, we will be back again and again and again....

I would never go back. First time ordering from here. A calzone should be "ham",ricotta cheese, and mozzarella. After making it home to birdsboro, I find out my calzone was 3 slices of ham, couple spoons of ricotta, and mozzarella.. granted it had all 3 but 3 slices of ham and hardly any ricotta cheese for the price was crazy!! Then instead of offering to make a real one and exchange it. The waitress asked if I wanted a credit for next time. No thanks, i wouldn't return .....Restroom stank like an outhouse to boot..🤮 Not recommended at all

The Texas Chicken sandwich was very good, perfect amount of cheese and flavor. Megan was an excellent server. I actually forgot my to go order after dining in and I was able to go back and pick it up the next day. Megan helped me out and provided great service.

Great Food. Slow Service. Terrible atmosphere. We've tried this restaurant several times now because the food is so good, but have met with the same service each time, whether we came for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The waitresses are friendly to the point of ignoring some customers while chatting about their lives with other customers, who seem to be regulars. It takes a while just to get our menus, even when the place is empty. During our most recent experience, we were the only people waiting for food in the restaurant and it took over 30 minutes to arrive. Our waitress explained why it was taking so long, basically saying that sit down customers aren't a priority and that to go orders take precedence. Also, when we were last there, one of the waitresses kept screaming at random intervals. I think maybe someone was tickling her or something. It went on the entire time we were there and was quite unpleasant. So, if you want this delicious food, I suggest you phone in your order. If the rating was based on food alone, I'd give it five stars. If the rating was based on service and atmosphere, I'd give it 1. So, I...

Very good food. They only have outside dining, due to Covid 19 restrictions, at this time. That is fine, but you have to go inside to place your order, then come back outside. I believe they should have someone taking orders outside and actually waiting tables. They do not check on diners at all! If you want a refill, you have to go back inside to ask for one. But they still want a tip for not really doing any waiting on tables. Also, on the door, there is a notice saying no inside dining and other info, but nowhere does it say you have to go inside to place an order. We won't be back until inside dining is available. I don't want to eat outside. I want to support local businesses, but driving twenty minutes was not...
