Original historic mid 1700s building that once was a landmark hotel on what was once a main road for stage coaches , horseman and then autos . Now modern roads and highways have bypassed the hotel and route 1 still passes in front of it , but the hotel is no longer just a place for just travelers to stop on a journey, it's the destination. It also has a large outdoor deck that is surrounded on three sides by trees,,grass and flowers.Stupendous food , great drinks , friendly and attentive staff , and a great crowd of regulars who will be glad to make you feel welcome. Coming here is always a treat for me.

Neat little place to hang out and chill. The service we had was great, the crowd was cool and chill, music was loud, they have skill machines and stuff. Food was decent and reasonably priced. Crab cakes were all dough, the chicken cutlet wrap my mom ordered was cut up chicken fingers and their fries are cheap crinkle cut frozen ones from Walmart.

Loved this place! Stopped here for a couple of beers after a trip to Jake's flea market. They had a fun outdoor bar with good service and good vibes. We didn't eat there, but they had a decent selection of bar food (wings, burgers, cheesesteaks, sandwiches).10/10 recommend. Will be back for sure.

Very good wings and burgers. The hot wings sauce was a bit too sour for my liking but I am no wings enthusiast. The barbecue wings were great. Rather small but for just 35 cents a wing on Mondays, what do you expect? The burger was very well priced and I was expecting a cheap frozen patty but was pleasantly surprised to know that it was a fresh, flavorful patty. People who complain about it being a "redneck dingy bar" fail to comprehend that the whole theme of the "Little Oley Tavern", Emphasis on Tavern, is to be a bit dingy. It adds to the overall experience of eating. And while right down the road at Spunktown, are also very good, they are also not as personable and priced higher. Two very different things. Do not let personal preferences of styles influence your opinion of what is a very...

Went for a quick dinner. Wandered in the front door and through the building and found the outdoor seating area. No one greeted us so we asked a staff member if we seat ourselves. You do. Menus are on the table and service was quick once we sat down. Menu has sufficient options. Standard fare. We opted for a chicken cheese steak and a fat boy sandwich with a loaded fries side. The chicken cheese steak was good. The loaded fries were ok but not great. I did not care for the fat boy. The coleslaw was not to my liking and that tanked the sandwich for me. The atmosphere wasn't what we were looking for. Smoking is allowed on the outdoor patio. The music was a mix of heavy metal and country. Unfortunately, we...

So we have been going here for years. It's a fun outdoor bar but it has gone downhill lately. Service is extremely slow and your bill never reflects the prices on the menu. They overcharge for practically everything. An example is the hoagie, the menu lists the price and states(lettuce tomato and onion), but they charge you extra for it! Who ever heard of a hoagie without lettuce, tomato and onion? Also there's a sign out front that says $4 for bottled Blue Moon. When your bill comes it's $4.75. We were totally ripped off at the bar as well. My advice .....take pictures of the prices on the menu and signs and show them if they try to...
