This was my first time here, neither my husband or I have been here before and we wanted to sit outside on such a perfect night. So glad we came here, the outdoor seating was lovely, small deck with ambience provided my by a warm glow of decorative lights. Cozy little tables that were simple and perfect. I ordered a Carmel Appletini and oh my God did it ever taste like a Carmel apple, it was amazing!. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork which is smoked on site and he had the BBQ Pork Mac and cheese. My sandwich was excellent, the pork was juicy, tender and very tasty aside from it needing more BBQ, it was perfect and came with hand cut fries. My husband's good l food was equally delicious with a generous serving, mac and cheese is homemade and paired with the pulled pork it was super yummy. There's nothing negative about this place. Our server Ashley was attentive and very friendly, great service. Loved the outside seating and the casual atmosphere, there was no wait on a Saturday night and the food arrived quickly. For soup, two large meals, a cocktail, a beer and dessert the total bill was $45 bucks which I thought was more then reasonable considering nothing here comes in a box thankfully. Overall the food is better then any bar food I've ever had and better then most restaurants for that matter, great food, great service, great prices and great atmosphere, we will definitely...
Read moreI don't have enough positive things to say about this place. My friends and I have been coming here for years and each time it's just as excellent as the last. My friends and I agree, this place has THE BEST WINGS we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. We used to come for wing night (Wednesdays I believe) when you could get 10 wings for about $5. Sadly that changed recently and 10 wings are only 25% off on wing night. Even so, $10 for 10 of these wings normally are well worth it to me. The custom and house made wing sauces are just as creative as they are delicious, with equal amount of options for those who prefer sweet or a kick. They rarely cheap out on the amount of sauce they give. My basket is often still soaked in unused sauce when I'm done. The place is small but it nicely delivers the vibe of an old style pub. This is a nice touch since it's buried in the middle of suburbia with more residential homes than fellow businesses around it. They have plenty of other outstanding food and drink options on the menu, but the overwhelming majority of the times I come through are specifically...
Read moreLittle bit of history with this place. Being local I've had occasion to stop here. The first two times we were here was not impressed. Warm beer and cold food. After hearing from others that their experiance was better we gave it another try after about a year. This time everything was pretty good. That brings us to recently. Wife and I stopped at the sister restaurant on the manatwany on a Sunday afternoon . Was told no seating for less than 4 people due to covid , despite a virtually empty patio. I guess no money is better than some money? Yesterday called the congo at 1:15 to reserve a table for two for 5PM. No one answered but the message said if you want a reservation leave a message stating how many people ,what time, a phone number and they will call and let you know. Never received a return call. A little common courtesy of a return call so I can make other plans would have gone a long way.. Union Jacks has done nothing to retain my business. Think my money will be better...
