McDonald's — Restaurant in Dresden

I normally don't down McDonald's but the magnitude justifies. First, I really like the large screen to verify the order. I've had the idea for years that you take a device on a chain that the driver can input on screen. I've noticed that McDonald's hasn't seriously changed its menu, I mean a serious overhaul. I think people just get tired of the exact same thing. I'm not asking something that eould pull Colonel Sanders our of the grave. When I was 11 years old, I stayed with Mother in Belvidere IL she had rented a hotel on a long term basis till she got her apartment. The owners were really nice inviting me to their Thanksgiving lunch. Next to it was a McDonald's and I wore it out. I made cash in laundry Mata and pushing carts. The $2 bills were circulating well. Susan B Anthony wasn't so successful. I have a photo where Ronald McDonald was there, in makeup and everything. It drew a crowd for hours, so I brought him a Small MAC and water. Got a pic with him. That later inspired me to become a Street mine, and so I did quite naturally. What happened to those days? Where is Ronald? That's my main complaint. The intercom system the drive thru uses isn't up to par. They have trouble hearing with cheap speakers and no noise canceling high tech equipment. It only contributes to burn out. There is 2 windows now, you know? I keep forgetting about the first one. The 2nd time, they came out and gave me ticket. It didn't count on my record. It just confuses them when I pull straight up to the 2nd window, but they always take care of me. I'm speaking of the McDonald's in Dresden. We've been lucky to have one. Dairy 👸 Queen didn't survive. There's a Mexican restaurant there now, but without Margaritas. What good is that? This is about McDonald's, I'm sorry. Go inside. They make it easy to apply. I went home with no burger, I was craving one. I know I ordered it. One burger with side item. Happy meal and the 3rrd burger bottom of screen. We were given 2 teas that was not ordered. We ordered water and had to request it again. Two people were working the window. I guess things got confused. We were a party of three, but we weren't having a party, though Rod Stewart was singing of one. I was asked if they could just put the bacon on the side. I ordered a quarter pounder adding bacon and cheese. I thought they having trouble fitting it onto the burger and be in little strip or they already made the burger and not wanting to adjust it. I agreed to bacon on the side, probably getting aliittle extra that way. And sure enough, a separate box for that. We pulled off to later discover no burger! So I have never left a review of McDonald's food before and I'm not normally one to complain, but this was almost unbelievable..so here we go.

I coach youth football and after a hard fought victory one night we stopped and picked up some food for the kids. The kids ordered the usual cheeseburger meals but I like the fish filets. So after placing our orders we moved through the drive thru in a timely manner, and after paying, received our food without much problem. My wife handed out the food as we cruised toward Martin and all was right in the world. I, of course, always eat my fries first and they didnt disappoint. I then decided it was time to go for broke and reached for my fillet o fish and was excited for that hot, soft bun filled with unnaturally square fish. Instead I found what can only be described as the earliest fossil record of a fish o fillet sandwich known to man! The bun was as hard as tempered steel and even the cheese had fossilized into this strange 90 degree angle like some type of abstract art. This sandwich was so hard that it is now the starting defensive tackle on my team and has recorded 3 sacks already and one forced fumble that it took to the house for 6. I visited this location on Saturday August 23rd 2025 and idk what they are doing at this location that every other location I’ve ever been to (and it’s A LOT) ISN’T doing but they need to be 1st off I forgot to tell them that I didn’t want any onions or pickles on my burger and I remembered right before they brought us our order, even so they still without being mad or having that face of UGH!! Made my burger how I wanted it and brought it out with our entire order. That burger was THE ABSOLUTE BEST BURGER FROM A MCDONALD’S I’VE EVER HAD hands down no other location even comes close I could actually taste the salt and pepper and meat and cheese separately but while I was chewing an entire bite I’m telling you I’ve never tasted a burger so good, I would even go so far as to say best burger from any restaurant EVER!!!!!
