Flavorful but pricey
The brisket sandwiches were excellent—tender, smoky, and satisfying—and at $14 each, they certainly should be. To be fair, the portions were generous and we didn’t feel shorted, but the price still felt a little steep.
We also tried the pimiento mac and cheese, which was tasty, though again, the cost felt high for what it was. A sampler of sides would have been a nice option so we could try more without getting tired of just one dish.

Read moreI don't know why this place wasn't packed when I went in there! It was new, the service and atmosphere were astoundingly great, and the food, oh my God, the food! My wife got a face melter, my MIL had a Charleston, and I got a Chubster, with Pimento Mac'n'cheese and baked beans. It was all so delicious and freshly prepared!
