I was really apprehensive eating here because of the poor reviews. We ordered the carne asada tacos and spinach dip and were extremely surprised by the flavor! The steak was cooked perfectly for the tacos and the dip was so gooey and flavorful. The Targhee Mule was really good, though it comes in a glass it tastes incredible. The Skiers Edge was really smooth. Our favorite was the sloshie, which was huckleberry lemonade flavored. I really don’t know why this place has such bad reviews! I walked into this place as a single woman, was sat at a table quickly but saw at least 4 other parties sat after me get drink orders taken prior to me. I wasn't even acknowledged for at least 10 minutes. When I finally put my order in and received it, my chili was almost cold, like it had sat back there waiting to be brought out. After I was finished it took 30 minutes to get my check and put in another drink order. I always tip good and felt like I was a last priority because I was a woman by myself. It's a great place during the winter to go skiing and it is not as congested as Jackson hole and yet provides excellent scheme and during the summer their mountain biking trails offer a variety of skill levels so that a beginner to an advance bike rider can use the mountain. The atmosphere at Grand targhee is laid back and pleasant and a fun place to hang out cuz they have good restaurants and their base area is comfortable and well placed and not to overly crowded like Jackson hole!!!!
