Place is a joke. Beer is good, atmosphere is cool, that's about it. Guy running the place has a bad attitude and offered terrible service. Ironically there's a "no whining" sign in the front. Our waiter is moping around whining about being overworked and wanting to get rid of this place. They had a bunch of junk occupying some of the tables and it felt really unprofessional like it's their living room. Food was horrendous $17 for the worst food I've experienced in years. Read moreWe decided to try this restaurant to celebrate our Anniversary. The restaurant is not huge but didn't affect the food or service. Joe (owner) was friendly and on top of serving our food. I requested an old fashion to drink. Being A Wisconsin drink he didn't have that. But he said if I could tell him how to make it ,he would do so. I suggested him to Google it. Read moreGott im Himmel! This was so necessary today. Absolutely wonderful. My wife and I split a Kassler Ribchen. Soup was potato and cabbage. Side of red cabbage and a mouthful of Kassler and homemade Spätzle noodles made me think I was in Germany.
Chocholate Bavarian cream cake with a cup of coffee to round off the meal. Taste that cream in the homemade frosting.
