10/20/18 first time here and was excited to try a new place in Duck. As year rounders we get tired of the norm. Started with the fried pickles the taste was good and they were in house made. The wife ordered fish dip and a quinoa salad as her meal and was extremely pleased with it. I tried the fish dip and it's awesome. For my meal I had the flank steak with potato hash and shaved brussel sprouts special. This was a really great dish the steak was perfect and the hash and sprouts were perfectly paired.
Tho I was disappointed my meal didn't come with bread. For dessert we shared a part of some sore the wife loved it and I wasn't a fan. Our server Sarah was on top of her game. Smiled made recs and described things wonderfully. The decorations inside are perfectly done and there is plenty of room. No over crowding at all. We will definitely be returning.
Updates 8/30/2924 party of 3 this time normally it’s just 2 of us we been here several times since my last post and have great experiences. We went tonight and must say all were disappointed. We started with beef skewer and fried green tomatoes, Both were amazing. For dinners we Had 2 steak and potatoes and a fish fry. The steaks were under seasoned and tough to cut and chew and the fish on the fry was not seasoned much at all and the broccoli salad was warm. We have been coming here since they first opened. As weekenders we eat here often. The menu lately has changed so often you never get the same thing twice. That’s not a good thing as many of the best items have been removed and replaced with things that aren’t as good. It almost seems like things are disorganized and there isn’t any consistency. We have decided to take a break and maybe return after some time in hopes of better consistency and hopes they find their identity.

Decided to give them a try after a long break. Party of 2
Drinks were good tho my second one was so strong I had to choke it down and if you are a Gin drinker you know Gin isn’t easy to drink when over poured.
Apps- Fig special- I found it to sweet and boring. Wife thought it was good and enjoyed the fresh figs but agreed to sweet.
Fried Green tomatoes were delicious
Entrees
Wife- Strawberry Salad and fries from my dinner. Said fried were great. For it to be July the strawberry were tasteless and mushy otherwise decent for a dinner salad.
Me- Fish Fry (catfish) I was excited for this as I love to catch and eat catfish. I asked to sub cheese grits for the fries as I didn’t want fries tonight but server said that wasn’t allowed but I could add grits on for $8. (Fish and grits was one of there known dishes when they first opened) I added the grits. Was a mistake they were old gummy and crusty took 2 bites. I tried the fries and they were good. The Cole slaw was put on the hot plate that made it warm and gross. The catfish was so thin and fried so hard the batter separated from the fish and the fish was like jerky.
The server never asked how things were even when noticing neither of us ate more than 1/4-1/2 of our meal. But she did ask if we wanted dessert or to go boxes. Maybe ask why people aren’t eating their food like “hey is everything ok” or if you aren’t comfortable getting a manager.
Needless to say we have decided we will NOT be returning to T&T anytime soon no recommending to anyone who ask either. Maybe next year we will try again but definitely not in a rush. It’s sad as this use to be one of our favorite restaurants in Duck and as people who is here at our home in Duck every week Wednesday-Sunday we like a variety. Of course like every place there’s people who love it and people who don’t hopefully one-day we will be those who...
Read moreWe dined at this establishment on Thursday (8/12) and had a great experience so we decided to come back on Friday! We did not make reservations either night which was our fault so we decided to wait for a text when bar seating was available. On Friday (8/13) we were told it would take about an hour to be seated. After 1 hour and 30 mins (8:15pm), we decided to check with the host. The entire bar was empty and the host said "Oops, I was just about to text you". We let it slide as we are all in the restaurant industry and understand mixups happen after a busy night.
Our server/bartender was Allie. She was prompt to take our orders, however, she never checked in to see how our drinks were or if we needed anything else while we waited for our food... nothing. 35 minutes later we received our grain bowl without the added chicken. She explained the chicken breast was taking longer than expected. After another 15 minutes, a quarter piece of burnt chicken arrived on a plate after we were already done eating. She did comp us for the meal which we truly appreciated.
As we were walking out to the parking lot, I realized I left my sunglasses at the bar. I walked back in, asked Allie if she saw them, but she swore nothing was left behind. I knew for a fact they were right next to me and no one was sitting nearby who may have taken them. Something felt off as she did not offer to help look and kept staring at us from afar. We thought it was odd that two minutes after leaving an empty restaurant no one seemed to have any information on where they could have gotten off to. My friend suggested we ask to see camera footage so we could find out where they disappeared to so quickly. Allie overheard the comment, looked concerned then suddenly pulled my sunglasses from right behind the bar. She said they "fell". I was so taken back by this behavior. I do suggest management check into the camera footage as this could have happened to other customers. Lesson learned-protect your belongings…even from bartenders in...
