Burger King — Restaurant in Dunbar Township

I used to work at the OLD BK before this one..from 1996-2005. Started as crew got manager..loved it. We had great employees (these kids wanted to work and they did). We had fun but we knew when to do our job. I met a lot of great people there. A lot of friends. Our boss sold the store to the ppl who have it now (I believe it's still the same ppl). We cared about our job and the customers..(yes we messed up at times) but we made it right. Our oners were great! They cared. They would come in on CRUISE NITES and help.. the sister came in every Saturday. They showed they cared about the store. Noone wants to do there job anymore. We all cared..cell phones are a big problem. We were NOT allowed to have them. If you brought it they had to be put away. These kids were Great and listened. Send them home if they don't listen. Ppl are rude,mean and don't care. It's up to the management to put their foot down and tell them this is how it is and how it goes. The guys had to be clean shaven. One mgr made a guy go to the restroom and shave or he would NOT work. (He did it) mgrs have to make sure they are clean with clean uniforms..they can't be irritated because then everyone gets that way. That place was a good place to go. I have not been there for years..I was reading the reviews.. there was a woman named JAMIE' that worked not sure if she is still there..but she worked with us and I am sure she misses the help!!she is usually in DT (1,st window) she's great..I guess this is what we have to deal with now..ppl are rude everywhere now. Which is just wonderful.. sorry so long but they should care about the store and the job. We took pride in our work. We had good work ethic. That's what is wrong with ppl . Just be nice and smile... a smile might make someone's day. Fix the problem without attitude. Yes managers have a lot work to do but they have to make sure they are doingl the...

COMPLAINTS: 1)Dirty, filthy entrance door 2)Dirty, disgusting bathroom that shoes stick to floor due to dried urine on floor 3)Dirty, disgusting soda machine with dried soda splatter all over it 4)Soda not mixed correctly and tastes foul 5)Cold food that gets prepared and served 6)Lazy staff that does the bare minimum which lays on their cell phones while customers are waiting for service and/or food

This weighs all on the manager(s) and restaurant owner. Step up to the plate and make your employees clean and take pride in what they're hired to do. A cell phone policy should be enforced while on the floor during work hours. Fayette County is a very historical area and it's a shame the restaurant isn't more representable and respectfulf of this. For you consumers that doubt me, try this place and find out...

Orderd a oreo milkshake I got a vanilla I went back thru the driveway instead of making me a new one they said they could dump oreos in it and respond it I didn't think that was sanitary since I was thirsty and took a drink from it while I was waiting in line so I said u Caan have this one back and can u make me what I ordered they said no and handed me a small cup with some crushed oreos in it no spoon to stir them in and I drove off and threw it in the trash .
