Eastland Grill — Restaurant in Duncan

It saddens me greatly that Eastlands Grill is not what it once was.. food is still good not as good as it once was but it's still good. service has diminished greatly when you watch somebody put an order in 10 minutes after your order goes in and they get their food about 10 minutes later why you watch your food getting cold in the back counter cuz nobody's bothered to back it up and hand it to you is super frustrating.. I watch the fries get cold for at least 5 minutes if not 10 mins and watched the two burgers sit on the counter for another three or four and then when somebody did finally managed to put them in the bag, they sat in the bag for another minute or two right there at my bag debating on whether or not to pick it up and hand it to me.. and I'm not sure if their portion size have shrunk considerably or I got charged for the big burgers and I only got the smalls.. and unfortunately I did love Eastlands quite dearly but I'm afraid that will be the last time I go into...

I come to Duncan a couple of times a year, and disappointed that I didn't discover this diner earlier. Grilled onion burger was perfect. Plenty of meat, caramelized onions, slightly toasted buns, and great flavor. Fries are fresh hand cut and a huge portion and cooked just right. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Seating is barstools facing the grill area or more barstools against another bar facing outside. Lots of football memorabilia inside and a row of classic helmets. Was confused when I went inside and was told to hit pay inside to activate pump (upon going outside and examining pump I realized I came in to pump wrong way, had to turn truck around). :) After pumping fuel, I went back in to pay and there was trouble getting the card to go through (as company had merged with another and didn't inform merchant). All and all it was a pleasant experience dealing with the nice lady having to wait forever to speak with a representative. I would definitely come back...
