I hope the owner reads this. In my opinion and I'm sure many others would share it, Farmhouse Cafe is sitting on a huge missed opportunity. Real, decent coffee and espresso drinks.
I was so excited when I moved to Pepperell 3 years ago to see this cafe only 5 minutes away. I couldn't wait to go check it out, imagining meeting friends for breakfast on a rainy Saturday or brining my laptop there one morning. Call me a snob, but what really attracts me to a place like this is getting a latte or mocha or cappuccino etc.
Imagine how disappointing it is to walk in and stare at a bunch of Folgers and Maxwell house drip coffee canisters, which i can easily make at home in 1 to 2 minutes. Besides the breakfast, which i hear is great, why would anyone come here? Im not a breakfast person, so I have not desire to patronize. I would in a heartbeat though if it was an actual coffee house.
Please give it some thought. Pepperell/Dunstable needs a cozy coffee house independent shop to compete with the 2 Dunkin Donuts nearby. You can lean into our New England charm with maple lattes. Pumpkin spice in fall. You would not lose your current clientele but would gain much more with some real, legitimate coffee/espresso and a Barista instead of the folders canisters that anyone can make...
Read moreI recently had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance is charming and rustic, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The food surpassed my expectations with its great taste and quality.
Their coffee is truly amazing, and I particularly enjoyed the butter pecan coffee. The Mississippi mud dessert stood out for its authentic and fresh ingredients, making it a delectable treat. The spinach-wrapped breakfast burrito was both tasty and freshly made, and the spinach wrap itself was a perfect match.
Trying the Margarita flatbread pizza was a good choice. The bread was excellent, and though the toppings were standard, the freshness of the veggie toppings was noticeable. The cheese was good, though not markedly unique.
I was happy to see multiple vegetarian options. The restaurant exudes an English-style ambiance, adding to the overall experience. The service was truly exceptional. The waitress who took my order was helpful and courteous, guiding me through building my order.
Considering the quality, the menu items are reasonably priced. I'm eager to return and have already added this restaurant to my list of preferred places for weekend brunch. If you're looking for a delightful dining spot with great food and service, this is definitely...
Read moreCute little cafe in the middle of Dunstable MA. I have driven by a few times and DH and I decided we should try it. It is not what I expected but charming none the less. You go up to the counter and order from the menu on the wall (or a paper one that was easier for us to read🤣). If you order coffee they supply you with a warmed mug! Lovely touch. It kept my coffee warm almost until the end of my meal. They had 4 or 5 carafes of coffee to choose from. It was good, not too strong but not weak (I got the regular) and there was decaf, dark roast, coconut rum, and one I cannot remember. They give you a little plastic number to display on the table you choose so they can bring you your meals and silverware. There is a small patio area outside with 3 or 4 tables which were occupied so we sat indoors. Food was good, hot, and priced appropriately. The English muffins were very large and looked delicious! I am abstaining from carbs so DH got his and mine. All of the staff was welcoming and friendly. Definitely check out the beautiful pastries and muffins offered in cases by the counter. They all...
