I have to commend Piper, the woman working the restaurant. A group of us arrived to meet up with our husbands for dinner & drinks 30 minutes before closing! We were surprised they were closing with so many still on the course. But she took care of us as best she could, and before closing the dining room we got drinks for us and husbands (in disposable cups) & made ourselves comfy outside waiting for them to finish. It wasn't ideal, but she did what she could. I only gave 4 stars because I don't understand why they don't offer better hours and an expanded menu. People in Dupont are frequently looking for a place to have a nice meal for special occasions (anniversary, birthday, Valentines Day etc.). I'm curious (having been here several years), why it's not more welcoming for diners? I've been told the clubhouse/restaurant was an afterthought - I think we need a better alternative for semi-fine...

This place has drastically gone down hill since the last time we were here. The menu has shrunk to a handful of items, they were out of waffle fries, only had two beers on tap, and the only salad dressing they had available was ranch.
When our food arrived (after waiting 45 minutes for a burger) there was a bit of paper towel in my salad and the burger wasn’t cooked how I ordered it.
Hard pass...this place is terrible. Try McDonald’s in DuPont a more elegant...
