Pam's Deli — Restaurant in Dutton

I really hate giving bad reviews especially with smaller restaurants like this.. but goodness.

I’ve eaten here before and it was really really good but this place has gone downhill since then.

Thursday evening we were in Dutton visiting family and decided to order from the deli, I got a cheeseburger and a side of fries.. I called in everyone’s order and asked about how long it would take (there was no rush, just asking so we would know when to expect to pick it up) the lady on the phone was so so rude. Anytime I would tell her what we needed she just kept saying “mhmmm” as if it was an inconvenience to be taking our order.. when asking how long it would take she’s pops off, “as long as it takes to cook it”. WHAT?! You don’t speak to PAYING customers that way.

After getting the food home, my burger was AWFUL, the patty tasted like it had been marinated in Dales, the flavor of whatever was on that thing was horrendous. It’s not a flavor you expect a burger to have, the crinkle fries tasted like they had been sitting for awhile, having hope I used some honey mustard they sent and that didn’t make it any better. The honey mustard has a weird flavor so it didn’t help.

Bottom line, if you’re looking for friendly customer service and good tasting food I highly recommend you...

My order was almost $30 and didn’t get a good quantity for the price of what I paid. $7 for a shrimp basket that barely had any shrimp or fries in it. The orders of fries barely have any fries in it. Ordered a large bacon cheeseburger the bun was 5 times bigger than the hamburger patty itself. The fries was also old and just horrible hospitality. I’ve been told by several other people that they charged what they wanted to and ripped people off. Will never be back I would put 0 starts if it would let me could’ve went and ate at a nice restaurant for that price and if my food wasn’t worth what I paid for I know they would’ve given me my money back or replaced it.
