Traveled from Atlanta to Kentucky for 4th of July & I must say Papa Z’s is definitely a hidden gem, with amazingly good food, you can tell it’s made with love, the staff is great they treated us like family. If anyone is considering Papa Z’s please don’t hesitate to place your order.

The Italian beef’s are made to perfection, the Italian beef quesadillas are to die for, the AU JUS we dipped everything in it, it was so freaking good! Papa Z's exceeded my expectations. I recently moved down here from the Chicago area and was really missing traditional Chicago food. Well, Papa Z's fixed that! I had the Italian beef and Chicago style hotdog and it instantly reminded me of Portillos before they went franchised. (If you know you know). The beef was nice and juicy and had great flavor, and they went all out with the Chicago dog, they even had blue relish! This place is an absolute MUST! I tried the full-size quesadilla, and let me tell you—it’s HUGE! Perfect for two people, so come hungry. The au jus sauce it comes with? OMG, amazing! Also, the nachos and cheese were delicious, and the brownie with nuts was the perfect sweet treat.
