Slow service at carry out..20 min past estimated time but to burn a pizza that's what it takes. While waiting for my order it was great to have a view of an employee scarfing down pizza sitting next to register, she needed a napkin bad to say the least. That was the most unpleasant site I've seen at a restaurant, who let's employees eat standing by the register. I've never even went to McDonald's and the employees are taking orders with a burger in hand. And top it off pizza was burnt and totally raw in the middle using a proprietary technique specific to this location. So much for quality control by the management, no corporate standard here. Night and day compared to the Illinois locations I visit, now will never visit another Beggars period. Corporate needs to look into the management of this location, no customer should be straight robbed of $40. I was ordering a pizza not making a drug deal, the risk should of been minimal so I thought. Only store credit offered, no refunds even if the pizza is not edible and out of delivery range. I was expected to drive back 30 min as the only means to rectify their mistake. I sent the manager photos and requested a refund which was a reasonable request but was refused due to store policy. The manager then refused to send a driver to replace the pizza even after seeing these photos because I was out of delivery range. So I spent $40 dollars and another $30 for another meal close by. Because the Kids were hungry and couldn't wait another hour to eat. Who would want credit and return to this place after seeing how they can box a pizza cooked with some kind of weird science. Beware this place will rob $40 dollars from you with a smile and defend their actions solely by store policy. Anyone looking to hustle people for money look into buying a beggars franchise and hire this manager for sure. I was expecting the absolute best pizza due to childhood memories (other locations). I desperately gave this place 3 chances to which they have greatly failed. So both times I ordered (delivery) they have gave me the wrong toppings on my cold pizza & forgot the ranch for my Sons chicken wings. I figured maybe I’d give this place another shot and just pick up my own pizza so there’s no confusion whatsoever. After placing my order, the girl on the phone said my order would be ready in 45 mins . I get there exactly on time and guess what ? Not only did they lie to me and say my order would be ready in another extra 15 minutes but they had me wait an extra hour + with my son and my newborn daughter. After waiting 30 mins I asked for my money back and they replied “we don’t do refunds, credit only”. Are you kidding me ? Why would I order from here ever again after your horrible service. Read moreNormally, this location is really good. I have had two episodes recently, which is now starting to make me question my decision to continue to eat there. The first was in a pick up order, first they had my order labeled wrong. I had already paid for it and it was done, but because it had the wrong number on it, the staff couldn't find it. Then, we bring it home only to find whole pits in the black olives that were on the pizza. My second incident happened while dining in. I ordered a Turkey BLT wrap. I received a BLT wrap minus the turkey. The wrap was more like a salad with some bacon bits. I mentioned the no turkey part to the waitress. She said she would take it off the ticket. When she gave me my bill, it was still listed on there. After she got this corrected, she kept pushing me to pay the bill, even hovered the table while I was getting my money out.
