JJ's Restaurant — Restaurant in Eads

Average run of the mill mom and pop shop. We stopped in because it has good reviews, maybe it was an off day for them. Our waiter was a younger boy with a blue Aeropostale t-shirt on.

The prices are very good which is the biggest plus. Unfortunately that is where it stopped for us. There was a number of flies flying around the table and constantly swatting them, we ordered a fairly simple order, 2 sandwiches and a salad with an appetizer.

We never got our appetizer of corn and jalapeno nuggets. They were fairly busy, but numerous times the waiter disappeared for 3-5 minutes at a time, and we only got checked on one time other than when we got out food brought to us.

Very slow service to unfortunately, the food tasted good, but it took 23 minutes to get our food, and took 14 minutes before we got to place our order because we didn't get waited on for almost 7 minutes after seating ourselves.

I would prolly give it a pass unfortunately, even though I love to support small business but it was a miss for me. Maybe an off...

This is a nice little mom/pop eatery, set in a little postage stamp Colorado town, on US 287.

The omlet I hand was tasty and the hashbrowns were done right; a nice golden crusty finish. The sausage patty ( yep, just one) was ok for what it was but at least three, or better yet, four would have been better.

The price is reasonable considering this joint is in the middle of God's country. Anyway, any m/p eatery with descent food is always bettet that the big chain establishements.

Now parking for passanger vehicles is a ok. For truckers, there is berm area off the travel portion/paved berm of hwy, nb; enough for two cmvs. Between the diner and the little gas station there is room for three.

There is a big motel lot but one may want to get permission.

Lastly, the waitress was charming and good at...

We stopped here while passing through. The signage stating homemade made this a preference rather than subway at luvs or the gas and grill. Unfortunately, I don't believe anything was homemade and the food was just ok. Both bathrooms were not maintained and the service was a bit slow. The server was at the register when we got their, so as it appeared we sat our selfies. After several minutes, a large party came in. Because this is a small town, apparently the girl knew this group of people and when she was done at the register she completely ignored the two of us and started helping the party of six.
