A uniquely decorated cabin style restaurant serving inexpensive mexican breakfast. My order was the huevos Rancheros. It consisted of two over medium eggs drowned in salsa with a side of refried beans and cooked potatoes drenched in a different type of salsa. It came with choice of corn or flour tortillas. It was served on a foam plate and a plastic fork. My first time here, so hoping that the foam plate and plastic fork is temporary due to covid times. It was fairly tasty, specially the beans. Didn't care for the potatoes. The eggs were okay. I'd order this again with light salsa and would omit or substitute the potatoes.

Cute wood cabin decor. Food came oyt fast but I presume most is already cooked and ready to serve. Flour tortillas are small, about 4", but good. Machacado was good. Salsa was not spicy but ok. Service lacking a bit. Waited a bit after sitting to get a waitress, menus, or drink order. After food came, we never saw our waitress again. Had to ask several times for coffee refill.

This place is DELICIOUS. The flour tortillas were perfect. I ordered a machacado con huevo and came with beans and potatoes. Yum yum yum todo riquísimo.

I'm not a fan of chain restaurants and I enjoy trying local dives because that's usually where you find good food. Unfortunately this was a miss. Although this place is cute and our waitress was very friendly, the menu is extremely limited. It was also hot in the restaurant; it's basically a wood cabin with cute decor and all the tables and chairs are wood/handmade, so I get the feel they're going for, fresh made-to-order house food, but it was just uncomfortable. And where were the bathrooms? I saw no signage and the only passage or hallway in the place led to the kitchen. Food was okay. I ordered the Choriquiles which is Chilaquiles with chorizo. It was a bit dry but the side of refried beans were actually pretty good. Our order of pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon looked delicious but the pancakes were tough and a little on the dry side.. We won't be back, but if your breakfast options are limited, this place...

Great place to eat! Food was delicious and waitress was awesome! We had an unfortunate incident happen with my elderly mother dropping an envelope with her cash. She noticed it missing when she was about to pay for funeral flowers for her sister in Piedras Negras and NO envelope!! We immediately called the restaurant and the waitress found it and we returned to Eagle Pass to get it. We want to express our deepest gratitude for the waitress for her honesty and service. Thank you La Cabañita Breakfast Tacos for hiring honest and special people to help make your...
