Dan's Deli — Restaurant in Earl Township

This is a great spot, and I regret that I didn't stop in sooner!! I had no idea what I was missing out on.

Not a fancy place, but their food is consistently good. I appreciate consistency when it comes to food. This is definitely a local hot spot- great for a quick breakfast, a casual sit down lunch or takeout dinner for the family.

I think the only time I've ever driven by and this place wasn't packed was because it was closed.

The service, like the food, is consistent with friendly staff who will accommodate (reasonable) requests. Then there are the prices, which are incredibly reasonable and haven't seemed to change much despite the cost of everything going up.

*Updated following the owner's response: You're definitely the place. I should probably clarify, your BLTs are my go-to move for breakfast on my way to the kennels I volunteer at :) and sometimes I'll grab a bunch of hot dogs from you guys to...

So let me start off by saying that I'm much more critical than your average person. I genuinely believe that most people accept bland flavor as delicious anymore. I ordered a large cheesesteak sandwich with sauce, mushrooms, and onions. The first thing I noticed is that the mushrooms were a little crisp, almost like they were canned. The second thing I noticed was that the steak meat was not very flavorful without adding salt. The third thing I noticed was the lack of visible cheese mixed in with the meat/sauce. After adding salt, and putting about six pieces of cheese in the whole sandwich, and throwing it back in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes... it was delicious. I will say that the prices were reasonable. The only consolation I can honestly think of is that this is primarily a deli and not a steak shop. I think that if I want a hoagie of some kind I would try this...

My brother lives close by this eatery and dines here often. He treated me to dinner and I enjoyed my tuna hoagie and hamburger! The preparation and presentation are average but the food is made-to-order with fresh, local ingredients and it's a family run restaurant so everyone is pleasant and friendly. The dining area and bathrooms are clean. Being located in PA Dutch country, there's no shortage of high-calorie and fried foods, sodas, desserts, etc. Definitely a place to fill up but not a place for alternative diets or someone watching their...
