We could hear the music from the parking lot. We opened the doors to discover a whole new dining experience. Earlington has its own little version of a nightclub/diner/neighborhood hang out spot. The fog machine was smoking and the lights were thumping to the beat of the live DJ. The lady at the counter met us with a welcoming smile. There was a wide selection of overpriced canned beverages and an offering of alcoholic ones as well. We placed our order, unfortunately the mutton listed on the menu was gone, so I settled for the pulled pork platter with a baked potato and corn muffin while my husband chose a burger and fries. We chose a table and the waitress brought the food. I was disappointed the pork was chopped and not actually pulled but it was good. It could have used more sauce and actually been pulled not chopped. My husband said the burger was a tad dry, but who orders burgers at a BBQ joint. The corn muffin was amazing. They had live entertainment in the form of a DJ that had very eclectic tastes pop, rock, rap, and cow molesting music. Way to heavy on the cow molesting music. I probably would have walked out if that is what was being played when we arrived. Overall is was a nice time regardless of the country music oozing from the speakers. Hollers was aptly named as you had to holler...
Read moreWe were seen quickly, and the waitress was nice. They didnt have much left to choose from menu wise as they were out of buns, and hamburger. They also didnt have anything that included potatoes and Mac and cheese as well. I ordered a brisket plate with the corn muffin and brussel sprouts. The price for the food you get is a bit high. We waited 30 minutes to get our order, with that being said the food was warm at best. The brisket slices that are ordered are quite thinner than expected, the brussel sprouts had a good flavor and would have been better if they were hot, and the corn muffin was room temperature and dry. The soft drinks are in 12 oz cans and you only receive one. No one had came to check on us either during the time we was there other than to bring the food to the table. Highly disappointed and will likely not...
Read moreThe pulled pork sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. The BBQ sauce is good. The onion rings are good but a little overpriced to only get 5 small rings. The cheese sticks are good. Now here's where the issues come in my daughter ordered a barbecue baked potato the server did not listen to her she got a regular potato. My son-in-law got a cheeseburger and fries the fries had good flavor but they were cold greasy and floppy. He said the burger tasted like cardboard. We had ordered food to go when they got home with the order my pulled pork sandwich wasn't even in the bag. So we had to make a return trip to be credited for the potato that was wrong and get the pulled pork sandwich that...
