The food was actually really good. The workers were young and very nice when I placed my order but you could tell something wasn't quite right. I placed two separate orders. I ordered inside the restaurant. I was the only person there but it looked like there were a lot of call in orders because people were picking up food constantly while I was there. The restaurant was very clean and the entire time I was inside (approx 30 mins) most of the staff was cleaning something. You can see the kitchen from the lobby and it looked clean and the cooks were always doing something. If my only experience was the first order I placed, I would have given 4 stars to food, 4 star to service, and maybe 4 stars to atmosphere.
As I mentioned before I placed a second order about 10 minutes after my first order. I noticed a menu item that I wanted to try and I knew it would be a little longer but I was ok with that. This time an older lady with short hair took my order. She looked like maybe the manager or owner. I certainly hope she was just having an off night because she was absolutely rude to me when I placed the second order. She acted as if I was a burden and she didn't want to explain anything to me at all. He demeanor was that of a horrible boss if you can picture than. Mean mugged me when I asked if I could place a second order, treated me like I shouldn't bother her with my insignificant questions, and when I questioned the price of an item in the desert cooler she rolled her eyes and instead of explaining the difference in price she says " do you want it or not".
The employees all definitely looked scared of her and the first young lady that took my original order was standing behind her cleaning and looked directly at me when the older lady was acting crazy. The look she gave me was definitely the "I'm sorry you have to see this and deal with this here" look.
I watched all the employees after that and could tell that something was off when the older lady would walk out of the back.
Like I said, I could have walked into a situation where the employees were not doing their jobs and the owner/manager was handling it appropriately, but I should not have been handled in the way she handled me.
I loved the food, this was my first time at that site. I would definitely order again. Prices are a little high for that kind of food, honestly, but that's the world we live in...

I am not making claims that these people have, in any way, endorsed my opinion. Stating this, however, I must say that I have spent the last few years working closely in this same environment. On that note I can say without a doubt that my customers, as such, have enjoyed my cooking talents and therefore my opinions on good food and the respect that I have for certain restaurants. So, as the Chef to these people, I, Christian Davis, will endorse Carolina Grill with the highest recommendation possible. I have, on numerous occasions, gone through their extensive menu, an item at a time, and found them to be: Superior in consistency, quality, and service. Read more#1 been eating here since I was 16 yrs old. #2 it’s always an issue with the food, but when addressed ( which hardly ever done because I’m not that type of person I’ll just take it as a loss ) it’s always THEIR RIGHT , customer is wrong. Not that the customer is always correct , but y’all get it! #3 I haven’t been inside the facility in person in monthS , maybe a year+ to be exact #4 the owner is still the same rude , disrespectful, disgusting, human in the business industry in the City of Easley #5 by the way he acts here in the year 2022 I’m sure he still *allegedly treats the workers poor and even harasses the women (not all,most) I’ve seen and even heard the things from previous workers as well and uncomfortable as the stories made me we continued business with Carolina Grill but as a woman I wouldn’t enter the facility ( personal reasoning ) I would send others #6 not here to BASH the people front staff is AMAZING! The workers don’t get the recognition they truly deserve in my opinion. cooks could get it together some overall still good at what they do. Running a line isn’t easy especially at peak hours!! SAM that man SAM steer clear !!!
