WOW! I'm rarely impressed by a restaurant and cannot remember truly enjoying pizza since I was in Chicago but the Red Tomato 2 took the cake! From the crispy calamari to the tomato pie -oh! the flavor of sauce, the crisp of the otherwise chewy crust... then their cannoli- a crispy shell with a hint of cinnamon encasing creamy ricotta filling- perfect... you must give this place a try! First impressions are everything. I chose this place out of curiosity, as I always prefer a real, local pizza shop. I placed my order on their website and got confirmation of my order at 5:30 PM. Estimated delivery was 6:12 PM. I called them at 6:38 PM just to confirm the order was accepted. At 7:10 PM my order finally came. Nearly 2 hours to feed my kids is unacceptable. As Pizza goes, theirs was...Meh. I ordered and extra large plain pizza to evaluate, without too much on it. I think the additional $1 charge to make it extra large went into the extremely wide crust at the end without sauce or cheese. Overall flavor was ok, nothing to write home about, for me anyway.
