5th time going will not be back. We spent almost 200 dollars each time for special occasions like Anniversaries and Birthdays each time. The restaurant only had one seating and there were many tables empty. We sat wtih empty drinks and were cut off way before we got the bill. The table next to us were told the specials, we were not. We had a cake fee added (which we should have asked about bringing desserts) but with a mandatory 20 percent tip I would have waived it as a server or owner. The owner refilled our drinks once. Food is good in my opinion although sometimes not heated through. I think you wait for homemade food. I hate the shake your salad and salad dressing. It seems like an insurance risk as those heavy jars could go flying and break or hurt someone. It's unnecessary. They used to just give salad in bowls. Homemade bread is good but sauce and olive oil come in super tiny bowls. This place really pushes the alcohol and we suspect the poorer service goes to those who do not drink. I honestly don't think the owners care. They know they will be booked and make their money they want to on the weekend and they don't care if we like it or not. Service has NEVER been good at any one of the 5 times we were there although last night was sub par. I agree that Winston and surrounding areas need to bring it up to the level of Charlotte or Greensboro. It also has a heavy energy if you are sensitive spiritually to things so it isn't a happy light...
Read morewe have been a loyal weekly customer at kitchen roselli's for over 5 years. we were even loyal customers at their families restaurant in north wilkesboro (sunny italy)... tonite we went as our normal weekend ritual but this time we were refused service because of their new reservation only policy!!!! less than a year ago they would not take reservations or call ahead seating !!! we were regular weekly customers through out the bad economy even as they raised prices, cut portions, changed ingredients, and even raised prices again... i cant complain about the food it was obviously great!! but to be turned away with the owner only to say well we do take a few walk up cutomers but we have already taken enough, with half the restaurant empty and only being open for about 20 minutes i think that is a poor way to treat people who have been loyal and supportive to you during your tough and trying times...we did find another place for italian food this evening less than 20 minutes away, pauls fine italian, more choices, better atmosphere, friendlier staff, larger portions, and the owner whom meet us at the door and immediately seated us without a reservations... to rosellis thanks for being loyal to probably one of your best and most loyal ex customers... thank you for opening our eyes to other great italian...
Read moreAlways had good experiences until today (04Mar2017). Placed takeout order, were told chicken dishes were dine-in only. Weird, but we ordered something else. Asked about desserts, were told they were out of what we wanted. Annoying, but no big deal. We arrived at restaurant at time told over phone. Our order isn't ready and we see the dessert we wanted on display. We ask about it and are told they are for dine-in only. None of these restrictions are listed on the web page so we tell waiter that we have a sick family member in hospice care at home and just want to bring one home to her. We know we're asking a favor, but they're right there in a display case. He says he'll ask the manager so we go into bar to order drinks while we wait. After 15 min no one enters bar to take our drink order, even after an employee pokes his head in and clearly sees us waiting. We go back to front and our order isn't ready and the guy never spoke to manager. We're pretty upset over how we've been treated, so we impolitely tell him to go talk to the manager now. We see him and manager go into a room at the back and after several more minutes no one comes back tp speam with us. We're way too angry now so we just leave. We will...
