This is one of the best donut shops I have been to and we are lucky enough to live in the small town they are located in. My husband loves the Kolaches (Sausage Rolls) the price is amazing on everything but the Kolaches are only $2.29 each and comes in a few different options. Cheddar Smoked Sausage, Jalapeno Smoked Sausage, Conecuh & Cajun Boudin Sausage. My favorite donut is the cinnamon sugar donuts because they don't have icing on them, making it the perfect sweet treat without it being too sweet. My son likes the Maple Bacon Donuts, I never have seen those anywhere else but if my picky eater loves them then that should speak volumes to how good they are! You can't beat the price on any of their treats, donut holes at only $0.75 a 1/2 dozen and only $1.50 for a full dozen. This place is ALWAYS SO CLEAN and in my book that's EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! Bought an apple fritter from there along with donut holes and let and behold, the fritter was hard, dark, and had a strong burnt taste to it. I call them and the dude told me that it suppose to look and taste like that and it has been that way for three year. And that is not true cause when I do visit there, I’ve always bought one. And this right here was not good at all. One bite was all it took to turn me away from there. The least he could’ve done was say bring it back and get another one. They should rename it Delicious Donuts. We bought a chocolate custard, glazed and chocolate frosted. Plus had a coffee.
They fill the custard on demand and filled it with the perfect amount; which is not easy. The glazed tasted very close to a Krispy creme.The chocolate frosted was yummy too. I loved how they didn't skimp on the frosting. As for the coffee, it was just okay.
