I always give places a second chance but won’t go back again. The service is usually bad with rude waitress but we actually had a friendly waitress this time around. Last time we were sitting for awhile and no bread came so we asked for the bread and the waitress says “there’s a process, I’m gonna bring some out” so rudely. This time we went the service was good as she was very nice but someone in my party asked for a side of ranch to go with their burger ( I know right, who gets a burger at an Italian restaurant lol) and we didn’t notice until we got home but they charged $2.00 for a little tiny ounce cup (see pic). I know it’s only $2 but that’s not the point. We never get charged for a side of any sauce anywhere we go. Thats insane. I almost couldn’t believe how you can charge someone that amount for that. I won’t be back, I’d rather go to Olive Garden lol.

Fabulous Italian Restaurant! Got seated right away, and Fiona checked on us immediately. Offered us drinks, which we got. I got a Malibu Sunset, and my husband got a Captain and Ginger Ale. Both were excellent. I thought about getting the Beef Stroganoff, but when Fiona checked, they didn't have any more. But that's OK. I decided to get the baked lasagna with meat sauce, and my husband got the Gnocci Pomodoro with a meatball. The dinners were superb! The lasagna noodles were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was tasty. The Gnocci was excellent also. My husband loved it. We will definitely be back soon. We live in Florida, and now, every time we come back here to visit, we will be stopping in.

Im very picky when it comes to pasta, red sauce & meatballs. We went here for Fathers Day 2017. My husband's uncle had mention this place to us. Overall, we enjoyed our time. Def, will come back. Service: 5 stars, from the moment we came in. Menu: 4 stars. Variety! Portions: 5 stars. Holly Molly! Price: Decent (affordable for the quality & price) Food Quality: 3 stars - calamari had thick breading that I didn't taste the squid. Marinara sauce was good. 4 stars for my piccata. According to my daughter 5 stars for her lobster ravioli. Meatballs & pasta was 4 stars. Cleanliness: 4 stars

My mom and I went to johnny macaronis right over the bridgewater halifax line, not the actual halifax takeout one, for the first time and this was one of the worst service experiences i’ve had. The older lady who was our server, wasn’t told her name, took a bit to come cover which is fine if you have other tables I’m also a server so I understand. We got our drinks, took about 10-15 mins for bread which I wasn’t even aware they had. We ordered mozzarella sticks as we ordered drinks too, 15 mins later we get them and another 10 mins later she asked for our food order and that was the last time we talked to her for another 30-45 mins until after she finished cleaning tables and setting things up then took a large party’s order and gave about 4 other people their checks before finally coming to get our plates from the edge of the table to which we asked for our meals to go. I went to go get my wallet from the car and while I went out the waitress tried to take the money from across the table that clearly wasn’t ready to be given yet. Not once did she come over and apologize for anything, saying “I apologize the kitchen is backed up” or “Sorry I’ve taken a bit..etc” we were hardly acknowledged at all and I’ve heard great things about this place so we’re but just as disappointed. I understand if you’re behind because there isn’t enough servers, or the kitchen’s behind, or something but to not say anything at all just doesn’t fly. Won’t be back. Pretty sure 1 stars don’t show up but that’s the...

Carol and I have eaten there before..and thoroughly enjoyed our meals, so when she took me there for my birthday. 19. Holding on 19 for many decades. Lol. I couldn't be more pleased.

As you walk in, you'll be greeted by a very friendly host or hostess. We had reservation for 6pm...we were seated at 6:05..very quick. A very friendly waitress greeted us and took our drink order..came back with the drinks and took our meal order......I don't think it was 15 minutes when she brought out two huge plates..our meals.

We both had the Chicken Parm. Omg...the size...portions of these meals was insane!..and omg....you could smell the sauce...tasty! Isn't the word. We both got doggie bags. I got 2 more meals out of mine as did Carol.

From the time we walked in...to the time we got our meals...and time with walked out...just over an hour...and we didn't feel rushed at all. Johnny Macs will delight you with great and friendly service from the time you walk in until time you leave... the meals were extraordinary. And plentiful!

And the price? Well I joke around and tell Carol if we go to a restaurant we've been to before. And the prices are through the roof...I refer to the eatery as doing the COVID CATCHUP. Jacking up prices to cover for when they were shut down....J.M.'s...very. very reasonable.

You want to take the family out for a great night of food and relaxation...go to Johnny Mac's. You won't be...

Love this place! Great food, we come here at least once a month, but today we had a very negative experience. I must say I have never been less impressed by a waitress ‘carol s.’ older skinny women so rude and dry. Really ruined our many years of pleasant experiences here, I hope our next experience isn’t so bad. We asked if the outside was open it was beautiful sunny 63 and tables and patio were all set up and she replied “no, unless you guys want it” not very inviting we opted to sit inside to not disturb her day. Also to note she was sitting when we arrived and there were max 5 total groups of patrons in the restaurant - it was not busy 4pm, multiple waitresses. She was short and annoyed with us as she waited on us when she came to bring us extra plates I asked her to place a to-go order and she responded “now what?” On top of it when we were finishing our drinks she abruptly came over and said “I have a ‘resi’ coming in” and cleared our table and walked away no ‘thank you’ or ‘I’m sorry we need this table’. We were not there long and there were plenty of other empty tables and nobody waiting. Her way of interacting could have been much better even if she was...
