It took me a couple of attempts to visit Timberyard brewing because they open in the mid-afternoon but I finally got a chance to try it out.

The atmosphere inside is fantastic. It’s very wide open so it doesn’t feel claustrophobic at all. I love the performance stage made from an old flatbed pick up truck. It is a nice touch. Having a skeleton sitting in the driver seat is an interesting surprise and I could tell other customers loved it because people were going up and checking it out. (See my pictures) The creativity used in the making of the stage really adds to the fun of Timberyard brewing.

I tried a flight of four different beers and they were all good. Nothing jumped out at me as being really awesome but they definitely were all tasty.

The staff that I interacted with that afternoon were incredibly friendly and helpful. This really added to the welcoming vibe of the brewery.

I didn’t order any food so I can’t tell you how that was, but they do have a menu which I included a picture of.

The bathrooms are clean, which is a real bonus. On the restroom stall and hand dryer, customers have placed all kinds of different brewery stickers, which is kind of cool. I always appreciate a place that keeps their bathrooms clean and this is one of them.

My buddy Carl, that I visited the brewery with loves IPAs, and he really enjoyed their selection of IPAs.

The building is only one story high so it is absolutely wheelchair accessible. Because it’s so wide open and the entrances to the bathroom are wide, I don’t believe anyone with a wheelchair or scooter would have any trouble being comfortable here. I say this as an observation, because I am not in a wheelchair and I don’t use a scooter.

To sum it up, I highly recommend Timberyard Brewing Company. It’s family friendly, in the afternoon at least. I haven’t been there at night but I’m sure it’s the same. Good beers, great staff, and I’m sure the food is fantastic but again I didn’t try any. stop in and have a beer or two and maybe something to snack on, you’ll be...

Great place to stop in and do some beer and wine testing and get a bite to eat. Kid's are also welcome.. Stop on in Mother's day and Father's day is all coming soon.. I really enjoyed myself there! I went with another person and had a really great time. I never experienced Beer and Wine testing before. I'm from out of town and the person I was with is from the area and she asked me if I'd like to go with her to get a Father's Day gift. I was amazed at how big they were seating inside and outside!! They had a great spread of food and the desserts were delicious!! I bought a few things and brought them home with me. We don't have places like that where I live.. I wish we did it would be a great place to go on the weekends to blow off some steam. If I can remember correctly they make in-house beer or both. The other thing that was cool about this place is they had local artisans there also and their work was beautiful. The gentleman who was painting his work was amazing. So if you're interested or ever in the area stop in!! You won't be disappointed.. Remember the busy season is just right around the corner. I wish I had taken a couple of pictures to post but I actually didn't think about it until I came home and wrote a review. If you decide to go have a great time!! They get 2 thumbs up...

Edit 1: after katies reply I am taking away a star and replying to her points 1) I always get carded because other people say I look way under 21 So considering you are suppose to card anyone who looks under 30 this was a big mistake and could get the brewery in trouble. Talking down to someone's legitamite concern for a company is just bad form. 2) while the brewery was still being built I sent a message directly to their Facebook asking specifically if they were dog friendly like treehouse was. I got a happy reply that yes they were. Thanks to Katies response this has now been proven to be a lie.

Original review: Negatives: was not carded so bartenders need more basic training. The pickles tasted like pure vinegar.

Neutral: I hope they don't keep using Bucks BBQ. Way over priced for something that's not that much. Didn't know at first I could have had a taste of the beer before buying a full cup.

Pros: classic pub cheese was amazing! Hubby loved the house ale and rough cut #1. Live music, tables and chairs to sit. Water cups for non-drinkers. Dog friendly!...

We discovered Timberyard Brewing through Harvest Hosts and what an awesome surprise it turned out to be! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of character—definitely one of those places where you feel like you can kick back and stay awhile. The food was delicious, and the beer selection was top-notch. You can tell they put care into what they serve, and everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. But hands down, our favorite part of the visit was meeting their three-legged dog! We had our own tripod pup with us, so it felt like fate. The staff were so friendly and loved the coincidence—it made the whole experience feel even more personal and special. It’s not every day you get to hang out with 3 legged doodles! If you're looking for great brews, tasty bites, and a welcoming atmosphere (especially if you're traveling with your dog!), Timberyard Brewing is definitely worth the stop. We’ll be talking about this visit for a long time!
