If they mess up your order, expect to be yelled at for it! I started using the Slice app for ordering my food, thinking that finally this place will start getting my orders right since it's not someone over the phone writing it down. Well, I was wrong! 3 times in a row using the app, my order got messed up. The first 2 times, it was minor, wrong toppings on my pizza, cheese sticks instead of cheese fries. No biggie. The 3rd time, they got my order completely wrong, despite confirming what I ordered when I picked it up. I ended up with someone else's order and I didn't realize this until I was home and getting 3 young kids ready to eat our late dinner after a busy day. I called the restaurant to let them know they gave me the wrong order and the response from the person who answered the phone was to ask me what I wanted them to do about it. No apology and not the response I expected! So I informed the person that this is the 3rd time they've gotten my order wrong and I was not happy about it. That I've ignored it the previous 2 times, but this time they had given me the complete wrong order. And now I had 3 kids not getting the dinner they thought they were getting (salad instead of fries, pizza with toppings they don't like, etc). The person on the phone began yelling at me that they were busy and it wasn't their fault and if I had a problem with the order, I could bring it back and they'd make me another order. Which would mean packing up the food and 3 kids, driving back to the restaurant, waiting around for our correct order to be made, and then driving back home again to eat. With how long that would take, it would mean my 3 kids would be getting to bed very late. I told him that wasn't feasible as I had 3 kids to get to bed soon and that I wasn't happy with how this was being handled. at which point the person hung up on me! Extremely rude and unprofessional. And no offer for a refund or anything. Very disappointed with this business. I had made a lot of effort to order from them throughout the pandemic and leave great tips (usually 30-50% of my bill) as I knew restaurants were hurting. They've now lost my business completely. It takes a lot for me to complain about the service I get from a business and I've never been treated so poorly for it. The few times I've ever had to say something at a restaurant, I've been apologized to and the manager makes an effort to make it right. I'm not sure in my case if I spoke to a manager or just a worker, but the person's behavior was uncalled for, unprofessional, and...
Read moreBefore ordering the buffalo chicken salad, I asked the waitress if the chicken was already pre-cooked and/or pre-seasoned. I’m sensitive to the seasoning and usually notice the taste and texture of this type of chicken product almost immediately. When the waitress assured me that the chicken is cooked fresh, I went ahead and ordered the salad. When it arrived, the chicken in the salad seemed to have the same distinctive taste and texture of precooked chicken, which detracted from the overall taste of the salad. I told our server that I couldn’t eat it because I didn’t like the overpowering taste of the grilled chicken and ordered pizza instead. Upon receiving the replacement order, a second waitress, whom I assume may have been an owner, informed me that the chicken was not precooked, but that they marinate the chicken overnight. Okaaay—regardless, their marinated chicken had an overpowering taste that conflicted with the buffalo sauce and frankly ruined the salad. The pizza was pretty good, but the overall experience of having the second waitress (possibly owner?) come to the table and put me in my place simply because i didn’t like their menu item left a sour taste in my...
Read moreSoooo disappointed!!!! I read the reviews and looked safe to order in here, I usually go to Pizza pie In Honey Brook that has amazing service and food always, but today I had just worked 12 hours and decided to treat myself with a pizza, not wanting to drive the extra 10 mins I ordered a white Italian pizza, supposedly fresh tomatoes basil and garlic and a large fry, I should have known walking in on a Friday early dinner time and the place is empty and the phone isn’t ringing it’s not the best, well I took a bite of the fries on the drive home and still cold and raw inside and not a stitch of salt or any seasoning, then when I opened the pizza I couldn’t believe it, it’s not even fresh made dough, so I ended up still having to cook anyway, air frying the fries and seasoning them, I had to slice fresh tomato basil and garlic myself and warm up the pizza, $24 for the worst pizza I probably have ever had, I could have stopped in Shady Maple and bought a frozen pizza for much less and tasty, I like to support local but I won’t do it if they clearly have given up and don’t care to put out fully cooked and good food. Sorry will not be...
