My recent visit to Legacy Grill left me utterly disheartened and dissatisfied. I had heard positive things about this restaurant and was excited to try it out, but what unfolded during my visit was a complete letdown.
Upon arriving at Legacy Grill, I eagerly took my seat, expecting a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, my anticipation quickly turned to frustration as I waited patiently for service that never materialized. Despite being seated for a considerable 30 minutes, not a single staff member acknowledged my presence or attempted to offer assistance. It was as if I had become invisible in the hustle and bustle of the restaurant.
Repeated attempts to grab the attention of the waitstaff proved fruitless. Despite making eye contact and signaling for assistance, I was met with indifference. Meanwhile, I noticed the waiters and waitresses casually attending to other tables, engaged in conversations amongst themselves, oblivious to my need for service. It was an exasperating and disconcerting experience to be completely neglected while the restaurant operated around me.
The lack of service not only tainted my dining experience but also left me feeling undervalued as a customer. In the hospitality industry, it is paramount for establishments to prioritize attentive and prompt service, as it directly influences customer satisfaction. Regrettably, Legacy Grill failed to meet even the most basic standards in this regard.
Adding insult to injury, there was no attempt from the restaurant staff to communicate or rectify the situation. No one bothered to apologize for the delay or offer an explanation for the lack of service. It was a disheartening display of indifference towards customer concerns and left me questioning the professionalism of the establishment.
Based on my terrible experience at Legacy Grill, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant. A dining establishment that disregards its customers, provides nonexistent service, and demonstrates a lack of empathy fails to earn the patronage of discerning diners. I genuinely hope that Legacy Grill takes immediate action to address these issues and strives to improve its overall customer experience.
With so many dining options available, I encourage fellow diners to explore alternative establishments that value their customers and consistently deliver...
Read moreThe food wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t delightful either - compared to, say, Ernie’s (just a few miles away) where we’d had a fantastic experience the day prior. The menu was really basic; our party ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with fries, a mushroom and Swiss burger with tots, and a fig & bleu cheese salad. Everyone’s meals were decent, but for the pricing, flavors were basic and unimpressive.
All of that said, the big windows with a view of the golf course make this a pretty place to eat, and our server was attentive. If you’re ok with run-of-the-mill food, I am sure Legacy Grille would satisfy. We just found ourselves wishing we’d gone elsewhere for...
Read moreThe food was overall good. However the service was poor. Waitress was very disengaged. We had a large group (18 people) with a reservation and the time from the first person to the last person getting their food was over 20 mins. No apology from the staff. Talked to the manager after and said it was due to new staff. I get that but as the manager you belong in the kitchen at that point helping get food out and going around and checking on guest and apologizing. I get that places are short staffed but be up front with people. Everyone everywhere is dealing with staffing. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was the food was...
