Fairways at Madden's — Restaurant in East Gull Lake

The food was OK. I had a pork chop that was moist & tasty. On the other hand, we both had brussel sprouts that were overdone to burnt. (See photo). I would not have served these to a guest. Service was friendly and attentive. However, the server asked if we wanted our salad before the entree & we said we did, she forgot our salad altogether. The view was nice, but there were a number of loud toddlers wandering about and a couple of crying babies. I get it. It's a resort restaurant. But, I suspect you will experience this most evenings. I am changing my review from a 3 to a 2. I left my credit card there on a Tuesday. They are closed on Wednesday. I had no way to get my credit card back as they did not return it to the front desk. I called multiple times, drove back there twice, & finally spotted the waitress that served us. She remembered that I had forgotten my card & said she gave it to the manager. Back to the front desk. It was never given to the front desk, so the manager had just held it for 3 days KNOWING that they would be closed the following day. I am not giving this place a 1 star, but I will never go...

Our waiter was kind and quick to answer our questions and concerns about allergens. He stayed attentive during our visit and kept our waters filled. Our experience featured a beautiful view of the golf course and we got to watch planes flying by. My girlfriend and I ordered our steaks medium rare but mine came out a little tough.
