If I could leave zero stars I would. My mom ordered a cake from here for my birthday last month that I’ve been wanting for three years now.. she placed the order in January and requested the cake be vanilla. When we received the cake it was chocolate. Shannon had made a Facebook post of the cake and multiple people had commented on it some even tagging me in the post and my mom then commented simply stating the cake was made incorrectly and was supposed to be vanilla rather than chocolate. Shannon immediately took the post down. My mom messaged Shannon to inquire why the cake was made as chocolate and why she removed her post after the comment. Shannon said she took the post down because there were no comments which clearly was a lie and that she had just assumed we wanted the cake as chocolate now and not vanilla. Tho no such conversation ever took place for her to make any assumptions like that. The original cake that she was made that we’d asked for it to look like was chocolate and that’s why she stated she assumed we wanted chocolate instead of vanilla even tho my mom clearly asked for vanilla as I do not eat chocolate cake. My mom then asked for a refund and was told she would receive one as she’d paid $80 for a cake that wouldn’t be ate and she only received $25 back and was then blocked by this atrocious business. I would absolutely never spend my money at this “business” and would advise others the same unless you don’t want what you request and then want poor customer...

I was at the shop on the correct time and date to pick up my cake and she was not there. Some other woman who was very sweet helped me. Shannon forgot my cake. Literally no cake was made. She said her calendar put it down for the wrong day. That was it... there was no "I can make the cake and deliver it tomorrow" or anything. She just simply didn't care. I wanted to spoil myself a week before my birthday because I was having a big surgery right before my birthday. I just wanted to have a nice cake and spend time with my friends and family. So I drove and hour to pick up the cake I had ordered 2 months in advance and she just forgot... that broke me. Can you imagine just being forgotten for your birthday. I canceled my son's cake as well. I don't EVER want him to feel forgotten. As for the deposit, there was never a discussion about a deposit. My mother in laws cake that I ordered the exact same way in May didn't require a deposit and my husband's cake and cookies in September didn't require a deposit... never got an reminder for those... it was the same thing. You said what time and day yo pick them up and I was there. I screen shot you the agreed upon time and day that I was supposed to pick it up and so I was there... Wonderful to work with and made our vision true with our wedding cake and cupcakes! We did a steampunk wedding and the stunning detail on the cake and cupcake were fantastic. The cake and cupcake were so delicious and she even made bacon cupcakes. Those were the most popular cupcakes, everyone raved about them. She was easy to communicate what we wanted and delivered!!
