Bosco's Pizza — Restaurant in East Liverpool

The pizza is not fresh dough. It had to have been at one point, but by the time you're eating it, it was baked once into a shell, and then baked again to order. They sell the pizza by the piece and are confused when you try to order an entire pizza. We were camping nearby and read reviews to see where to go, and I thought this would be a hidden gem, but it was not. We ordered a "tray" (28 square pieces) and asked for mushrooms and hot sausage on on half, and pepperoni on the other half. The girl taking our order seemed confused, so I thought, what the heck, I'll just get mushrooms on the whole thing to make it easier for her to write up the order--2 toppings on the whole thing will be easier to figure the price, right? The tray price was about $23, and when we came to pick up the pizza, we were informed that the mushrooms added $14.50 to the price of the pizza, and the sausage on one half was another $7.50, for a total price of $45!!!! The pepperoni was free, how generous. On top of all of that, the mushrooms were canned and the cheese was rubbery and tasteless. The sausage, however, was good. Overall, I've had better cafeteria pizza than this, and the PRICE was LUDICROUS. Wow what a change, we haven't had pizza from here in about 20 years and it is sad to say the atmosphere here has changed for the bad, no one creating you just looks at you then you with that stupid look, not friendly at all period and trust me I can get 99 percent of people to smile or laugh , so apparently these people are the one percent,then comes the pizza , what in the hell kind of sauce was that yucky 🤮🤮🤮🤮 no flavor no spices other then a hint of powdered garlic , hardly any cheese and just plain awful and I wouldnt feed this crap to a homeless guy, not sure if these people purchased this place from the original owners then changed the sauce or what but please get someone in there that know how to make a tasty sauce, like I said this was the first in almost 20 years that we have had pizza from there and it will be the last until they get new sauce, I will not recommend this...

Good food. But expensive. And biggest issue is they dont take your name on orders. So be careful and check your order before you leave or you could end up with someone else's order. We ordered bosconi with no mushrooms or green peppers. And another bosconi and some pizza. My wife picked up order and all guy said was '2 bosconis and pizza' got it home (10-15 min drive) and realized it was someone else's order. Worst part is when I called to talk about it lady on phone made it sound like it was my wife's fault and they now have two upset customers because of her... and they didn't offer to do anything... will be a long time before we order of we order again. We have ordered again. And they are taking names and the food has been great as usual. Just one time off that...
