I recently visited the Dairy Queen in east Liverpool, and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish.
First off, the service was abysmal. Despite there being only a few customers ahead of me, I had to wait nearly 20 minutes to place my order. The staff seemed uninterested and moved at a snail's pace. When I finally reached the counter, the cashier was rude and dismissive, barely making eye contact and rushing me through my order as if I was an inconvenience.
I ordered a classic cheeseburger meal and a Blizzard. When my food finally arrived, it was clear that it had been hastily thrown together. The burger was lukewarm, the cheese wasn't even melted, and the lettuce was wilted. The fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. To top it off, my Blizzard was more like a slightly cool milkshake—it was so melted that I had to drink it through a straw.
The dining area was another letdown. The tables were dirty, and there was trash scattered on the floor. It was clear that cleanliness was not a priority for this location. Even the restroom was in a sorry state—out of soap and paper towels, and the floor was sticky.
Overall, my visit to this Dairy Queen was extremely unsatisfactory. Poor service, subpar food, and a dirty environment all contributed to a thoroughly unenjoyable experience. I will not be returning to this location and would advise others to avoid it as well. Dairy Queen, you need to step...
Read moreIf anyone wants to go to Dairy Queen in East Liverpool approach them with caution. They didn't warn my girfriend that their card reader hadn't been working most of the day (there was not even so much as a sign to indicate the glitch on their end). They filled up a drink for her one child, handed it to her. They gave her other child a Gatorade, handed it to him. He is autistic. He can't exactly tell people when he needs hydrated. He will throw up if he cannot drink. This was during the hottest day of the year (yesterday). Her card didn't work there bc they didn't tell her their reader was down (after already handing out beverages to her parched children), so her 40 dollar order wouldn't process. They blamed the issue on her bank. Her card worked at Wellsvile Dairy Queen and a couple other stores. It wasn't her bank. She then was asked to return her fountain beverage and the Gatorade in a less than nice manner and asked to leave. They aren't losing money allowing her children to keep the drinks when they get free drinks all day. The disrespect is real. I would never wanna give a place like that my business. Spread the word, tell your friends. It isn't like she tried to make out with the rest of her 40 dollar order. But, because of their mistake on the hottest day of the year, they like to customer blame and take drinks from children's hands, one being autistic and in dire need of a beverage in that heat. Ashamed...
Read moreHorrible customer service. The manager and my father got into an argument over a cup of ice or a cup water. We were paying customers. We were leaving out and asked for a simple small cup of ice. She said no ice could be given out with paying for the cup. Threatened to call the police on my father because he was asking why does he have to pay for a cup of ice after he just paid for 4 meals. All she stated is that "people" steal. After that statement she got extremely loud and told us to leave. While this occurred, the store had two potential customers that walked out, saying that she was extremely rude for her actions. Things did escalate quickly, no police were involved. The manager on duty could have handled this much better instead of threatening to call the police over a simple cup of ice. All that should've been said is that they do not do courtesy ice cups at all instead of saying people steal so you must buy a cup or leave the store. I will say the young lady who walked outside and calming spoke us, was very polite and explained some things further which calmed us down. Thank you to her! That young lady told us they did not have fountain water, only city water. We understand. Also said the ice should not have been an issue at all if we did pay for meals and could have received a kids cup for it. The managers action were uncalled for, which made the...
