Lizard Creek Pub — Restaurant in East Penn Township

As others have remarked, it doesn’t look too promising from the outside but it’s ok inside at the bar and in the dining area. We were pleasantly surprised! Everyone said hello (even the other customers) and we asked if we could sit in the dining area and the lady behind the bar said as friendly as she could be that we were free to sit anywhere. She asked what we wanted to drink and my husband got wine and I ordered some new creation I had somewhere else and she said no problem and she made it perfectly! She rightaway told us the specials which was sauteed scallops and something else…but the scallops sounded good to us…I asked how they come and she said they were just appetizers…I asked if she could put them with pasta and make them an entree which the “chef” agreed and made fresh fettuccine and it was divine…along with crisp fresh garlic bread! Um um good! Chef came and checked to make sure all was good. Before we left they made some fresh blueberry fritters we took home and they smelled delicious in the car…we are looking forward to them later! In conclusion we were pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend…price...

Called for take out went to pick up sat 45 minutes waiting also saw people in the dinning area not happy with the service. Bar customers were getting more attention food was being served to them and this was customers who came in after I was there to pick up. The food was not very good. We received chicken that was still pink a deep fried hot dog in a steak roll. Threw the roll out had to peel the skin off the dog abd threw the chicken away scared of getting sick. never offered to compensate any part of the meal for the wait time just said sorry. I live local would have returned like to do local business but will never return and will not recommend to anyone to eat there. Seat yourself. We were ignored when we got there, never given a menu and they have no credit card machine. No beyond burgers on the menu, so I was forced to eat something I gave up eating a year ago. The other vegan lady didn’t get any food. The waitress never brought anyone any silverware, I had to use plastic silverware I brought from home. Then she didn’t bring anyone the vegetable that came with their meatloaf dinner. Bf ordered meatloaf and received a roastbeef sandwich. She had no trouble accepting a 32% tip.
