the first and last time we will EVER order from Pizza Town in East Prospect.
My 2 year old wasn’t feeling good today and the only thing she asked me for tonight was pizza. So i went online and I ordered from pizza town in East Prospect. It said my order would be here between 6:51pm-7:09pm. no problem. 7:09 came and went. Again no problem. It’s storming, i just assumed they were delayed because of that. However 20 minutes before I had received a message that my order was on the way. they are only 5 minutes from us. At 7:20pm I went on the app and live chatted with the customer service on slice, the app used to order the pizza. They informed me that my order was delivered and “left on the porch” due to me not answering my phone or door. I never received a phone call, and no one ever knocked on the door or rang the door bell. My Husband went outside to see if the pizza was there. He went out our front door, the one that is covered, assuming that the delivery driver would put our food under the COVERED porch if we “didn’t answer the door” like he claimed. nope. Our food was sitting at our side door (uncovered) soaked in the pouring rain. After calling Pizza Town, they knew exactly who I was when they answered the phone and again claimed that they knocked twice and no one answered. okay, but we have door bells and no one rang? they claimed someone called my phone and i didn’t answer. My phone never rang. The person on the other end of the phone then proceeded to hang up on me saying i would “get a refund”. at this point im fuming because my 2 year old is upset that we couldn’t have pizza. so i took a minute to calm down and proceeded to call back. She then told me that they would “gladly make me another pizza to bring to me” admitting that the refund had not been submitted yet. no ma’am just give me my refund. once and done i will never order...
Read moreIt has been 6 years since we last visited this small-town pizza shop. It was nice to see that the place has stayed the same over time. I didn't get to see some of the faces I had grown to know but the new people have kept the same traditions and feel. We ordered a longtime favorite in the steak subs. Really enjoyed mine with green peppers. The bread was a little different than I remember but still very good for an in house bread. I am a major critic of house breads and definitely feel the traditional sub roll is best but the bread here does justice to the sandwiches. A tad more seasoning would have put it over the edge. I could taste it so it my have been perfect for most I am just a spice guy myself. All in all I would highly recommend a stop in if your...
Read moreI love their salad, but their menu is super frustrating. I was going to order take out tonight but decided to cook instead because it was so annoying. What's in the regular boli? What is a special boli? What do you put on your subs? None of the menus have any information. Yelp, Google, the website, Slice...I spent so long trying to find a menu that would be remotely helpful that everyone is hungry and mad now. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because I get the same thing every time and it's delicious. Trying to help the rest of these heathens order...
