I visited last night with my family, a decent sized party of 10, and the staff didn't even blink - they were fast, courteous and at the top of their game. We ordered a sampler appetizer with shrimp, chicken and crab and oh my goodness was it delicious - and I normally don't like crab! I ordered one of their burgers, and boy was I surprised when it was finally placed in front of me - it was bigger and taller than my fist! It came with a side of plain salted potato chips - which, I'm personally not a fan of, but it didn't really matter because it was all I could do to eat just half of the burger due to it's enormous size! Flavor? This burger was wrapped around bacon and cheese for an insanely delicious center, deep fried with onions, and then topped with more cheese and bacon - in other words, it's one of the most amazing burgers out there. Healthy: No....

Loved the old place, Emils in this location. Wanted to love this place but can't. Minus one star for "phasing out" Eggbeaters in favor of tasteless egg whites, but still keeping the one dollar up-charge. That "phases out" the most appealing two thirds of the menu for the large number of us who have to watch our cholesterol. Come on. Even Perkins offers Eggbeaters and without up-charging at that! They're easier on the cooks, who don't have to crack and scramble eggs. Minus one more star for putting the "bla" in bland. I mean really. Just a little salt and pepper would be a start. BLT breakfast wrap needed Tabasco even to rise to edible. Most exotic flavor was the mayo. Breakfast potatoes also just limp with no hint of browning or flavor. Almost like...

we have always had a good experience here for breakfast - good food, good prices, limited menu, quick service.

Saturday we went for lunch for the first time and we won’t be returning. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, maybe 6 customers/tables in the whole place, and we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. When the waitress finally arrived, she seemed very irritated and overworked if I’ll be honest.

We ordered a kids meal, a sandwich and a crock of french onion soup. When it all finally arrived, I was disgusted because the waitress’ sweat was dripping from her hair onto our plates and onto our table. We should have left right...

My family of 4 went to Rockhill Filling Station for dinner. The staff was friendly and professional. The tables are a bit odd as they aren't flat. The menu is basic American home style cooking. Everything was good and filling. The fried pickles weren't quite my style, though, as they were actual dill pickle spears and were quite sour and mushy beneath the breading. The dill pickle slices work better for frying. I didn't get to try any desserts this time, but they had a good list of them. There is handicapped parking and a ramp. Overall, it is a good local place to eat.

Just okay. I wanted to give it more but three is about it. I guess if you are in an isolated area with few choices it would be interesting. I ordered their ultimate cheese omelet which beside coming without potatoes also had no flavor. If you want home fries it's another $2.00. I did order a side of bacon for $2.75 which amounted to three pieces which was a disappointment. Generally even at a cheap diner you get four. Bottom line is it wasn't terrible but most likely a local diner would do as well if not better.

If it wasn't one of the only breakfast spots around, I wouldn't be here. Building is old, stuffy, and bathrooms are in disrepair. The low ceilings and close quarters make sound bounce off everything. Do not go here if you can't stand constant noise. The tables have poured resin on them, but they didn't seal them, so there's crumbs and old dropped food in the crevices. If this is the state of the tables, can you imagine the kitchen? Needs a visit from the health department and Gordon Ramsay.
