The Lion's Den Cafe — Restaurant in East Saint Clair Township

This stop by was a pleasant surprise. Looking for something to eat. Very small sign & almost missed it. Found front door with logo on it. There are multiple businesses on site. "Den" is top front middle door. Other businesses also located in back lower level of building. Clean with a fresh modern cafe look. Waitress/cashier immediately greeted & directed seating. Today's visual menu is posted on large boards on wall (can't miss them). Menu & drinks shortly followed. Pic below - ham club w/criscut fry (delicious), grilled chicken sandwich w/mandarin orange salad (delicious), gyro salad also delicious, liberty strawberry lemonade w/fresh fruit was very good & refreshing. The lion's den is a great choice for anybody hungry! I visited late in the morning this past Saturday. There was no wait for a table, the wait staff were friendly and efficient, and we had drinks within minutes. The food all came out in good time, and everything was exactly to order. I can personally recommend the omelettes. We even put in an order for an item not on the menu, and they were able to accommodate. The ambience was nice. There was some quiet music. It was a nice place to sit and visit for a few minutes with friends. We have no complaints at all with our visit! Good work Lion's Den! I...

Food is delicious! pancakes have crisp edges, fluffy middle, and scrapple has a wonderful crust & is packed with flavor! Pleasant surprise for such a small place. The hour-long trip was worth it!
